Fake ID By Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson

The flight to Austin had been long but uneventful, and when they finally arrived in Texas, everyone seemed grateful to touch down on solid ground. It was a smooth entry into the Lone Star State, and after a quick ride to the hotel, the group wasted no time settling in. As expected, Lana and Lando were rooming together, while Nat, Theo, and Max all had rooms of their own, tucked away on the same floor.

The first night in Austin was incredibly low-key. After such a packed schedule, everyone needed a breather. They agreed to grab a simple dinner nearby, enjoying the laid-back Texan atmosphere before shuffling back to the hotel. It didn't take long for each of them to retreat to their rooms—no wild adventures or late-night outings, just the comfort of their beds calling to them.

The next day arrived with a crisp Texan morning, and it was time for the highly anticipated Quadrant photoshoot. The sun was shining, the Texas air was warm, and energy was buzzing around the team. Everyone had their roles for the day—Max in his element, guiding the brand he'd helped Lando create, and Lando, the face of Quadrant, ready to get in front of the camera. Lana, Nat, and Theo hung around the set, excited to see what the day would bring.

Lana watched from the sidelines, leaning against a wall with Nat and Theo beside her. Lando stood in front of the camera, striking a natural, confident pose while playing with the football he held. The crew was bustling around, cameras clicking, lights being adjusted, and Lana couldn't help but watch, her eyes glued to Lando.

The way he looked today—hair tousled perfectly, wearing that classic confident smile, the sunlight bouncing off the track behind him—Lana was feeling things she didn't really want to admit. Her stomach fluttered slightly, and she had to remind herself to keep it cool. It wasn't like she could suddenly let the others see her swooning over him, especially after all the chaos between them.

She glanced over at Nat, who had caught her staring and raised an eyebrow with a mischievous grin. Lana rolled her eyes but leaned in closer, whispering under her breath so only Nat and Theo could hear, "He looks... good. Like, really good."

Nat smirked knowingly, nudging Lana in the ribs playfully. "I knew it! You're totally fangirling right now."

Theo, who had been watching the shoot with mild interest, perked up at Lana's comment, leaning in with a grin. "Oh, definitely. Look at you, all starry-eyed."

Lana quickly tried to hide her flustered expression. "Shut up, I'm just saying he looks professional, alright?" she muttered, though her voice lacked conviction. She knew the truth; Lando had an energy today that was impossible to ignore.

Nat giggled, her eyes still on Lando. "Professional, sure. But admit it, there's something about him in that white shirt."

Lana sighed dramatically, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Okay, fine. The shirt works for him. And, I mean... the hair, too," she added, her eyes drifting back to him, watching as he laughed at something Max said.

Theo crossed his arms, giving Lana a teasing side-eye. "Don't go getting all love-struck on us now, Red."

Lana gave him a mock glare, playfully shoving his shoulder. "I'm not love-struck, okay? Just... appreciating from afar."

Nat shared a knowing glance with Theo before turning back to Lana, her grin still firmly in place. "Whatever you say, girl."

As their teasing subsided, Lana couldn't help herself. She pulled out her phone and quickly snapped a photo of Lando while he was laughing with Max, the sunlight hitting just right, illuminating his smile and the soft breeze tousling his hair. She didn't plan to do anything with it right now—it was just for her, just a little moment captured to remember how effortlessly good he looked.
