Ariana was in no mood to get up. Her brother and Gellert were gone. They are on their way to steal Mr. Gregorovitch powerful wand. She still had a little hope that the ghost she sent would try to stop them.
Then, a loud shout was heard downstairs. She quickly got up to find out why her brother screamed. She headed downstairs to find Albus drinking coffee in the living room.
"Albus!" Her eyes widened. She expected him to had gone last night.
"W—why are you here?" Aberforth began to question him.
"Change of plans. I will leave once Gellert comes back," Albus glanced at his sister. She had a feeling he knows something, as he studied her movement.
"Fine! Once you leave, don't come back! Ari and I won't need you. We never did. We will be happy without you. Right, Ari?" Aberforth looked at her for support.
She questioned why her brother stayed. Does he know something about her and Gellert? "What is it, Albus?" She took a step. Aberforth looked at the two waiting for an answer. He was clueless on what was happening.
Albus notice the black silver ring she wore. "Get ready. You are coming with us. He won't take long to return," Albus got up and headed to his room.
She got surprised by his words. She was going with them. She is going to see Gelley.
"What? Ari, what is happening?" Aberforth was still clueless on what was happening.
Ariana decided to explain. She told him about her feeling for Gellert. How gently and kind he treated her. She explained about the ring, which she knew he meant to court her one day.
At first, Aberforth refused to accept. He tried to mention the worst character of Gellert. However, it didn't stop her from seeing the good in him.
"I love him, Abe. I don't want to be alone. I don't want to let go of my first love like you did," Ariana knew the last words hurt her brother. She tried apologizing which he began to accept her wishes. He couldn't stop her from enjoying happiness.
"Go! I will be fine," Aberforth allowed her to leave with Albus. He was going to be sad and alone. But it didn't matter to him; what matters most was her happiness.
Albus appeared again," Ari, come with me. We have a few errands to run before we go. Aberforth will stay to take care of the house." Ariana nodded. She quickly brushed her teeth, brushed her hair, did a bit of makeup, put on the prettiest dress, sprayed perfume, and placed on her shoes.
"Ready!" Ariana hopped off the stairs. She was excited to leave the house with her big brother. It had been a long time since Albus treated her in accompanying him out of the house.
"Where we going?" Ariana wondered where her brother was taking her. "To buy you a wedding dress," her heart paused hearing her brother's words. The only way for him to know was if Gellert told him.
"Gellert plans to purpose to you. The ring you have is a promise ring. You will wed him before we leave for our journey," Albus explained, although he appears in a sourer mood today.
"Will I be traveling with you?" She asked.
"I told him no, but Gellert insist we take you. It would be appropriate if we do take you since you will be his wife tomorrow," Albus explained, however; she noticed him grinning rather in an odd way.
They arrived at the bridal dress shop. They were greeted by a bridal consultant, who looked at them weirdly for marrying at a young age. Especially, Ariana who seems younger than she appears.
