Aberforth hasn't left his room in days. Sadly, he wasn't able to properly tell Karla farewell. Her father intervened wanting to attack him. Ariana felt sad by Aberforth depressed state.
Meanwhile, Albus and Gellert have been going in and out of the house. They are close on there search for the wand. Which Ariana is beginning to worry about the other two deathly hallow objects.
"Should I find Mr. Potter?" Ariana thought in warning him about the invisible cloak.
"Silver, what would you like for Christmas?" Gellert interrupted her thoughts. Albus carefully listened to Ariana's reply.
"I am too old for dolls," she looked at Albus. She knew Albus would have gotten her another doll. "I would like a new book, a quill, some parchment, and new clothes," Ariana listed the items she needs.
"What's wrong with the clothes you have now? Don't they fit you?" Albus didn't like the idea of spending his time shopping for woman's clothes.
Ariana recently began to wear her mother's old clothes. She didn't felt it suited her age.
"They fit me! It's just—" Ariana couldn't finished her sentence.
"Then, you don't need to more clothes. You have mom's clothes to wear," Albus saying being on a budget.
Before Ariana replied, the girl behind them spoke," What'a wrong to demand more?" Amata spoke up startling three.
"Can you knock?" Albus has gotten frustrated with her recent visits.
"I did. No one answered. I let myself in," Amata answered.
"You can't just enter someone's property without an invitation," Gellert backed up Albus. Albus blushed feeling his crush loving support.
"Oh, I am sorry, Amata for not answering the door. You can come in anytime," Ariana smiled at her. "Are you hear to visit Abe?" She asked.
"No, Aberforth needs to be alone for now. I came to see you!" Amata smiled.
"Oh!" Ariana looked suprised.
"Are you free today?" Amata asked.
"Yes. What for?" Ariana wondered what her new friends had planned.
"Let's have a girl time!" She whispered before taking Ariana to the fireplace.
Albus and Gellert realizing took talks what Amata was doing. "Wait, you can't take her?" Albus tried to stop them.
"Where are you taking her?" Gellert looked angry.
"We will be back!" Amata ignored them. She dropped the pile of dust in her hand. The two girls immediately left in green flames.
They arrived in a busy muggle town. "Where are we?" Ariana didn't recognize the place. She knew her brothers are worried.
"Looks like we are outside the entrance," Amata notice the Leaky Cauldron sign. Amata grabbed Ariana's hand and the two entered the bar.
Amata slammed her hand on the table,"Hey! I need you to show me entrance to Diagon Alley," Amata demanded from a hunchback creature.
"There," he pointed to the back. The two girls followed the direction given.
"If I remember correctly, Ambrose did this...," Amata pressed the brick walls with her wand. Magically, the walls opened."There is a specific passwords to enter this place," Amata explained. Ariana eyes widened viewing a cobblestone wizard shopping alley.
"This is my second time here. They have many shops here to shop around," Amata said, as the two looked around the alley.
"There are many people, here!" Ariana has never encountered a large multitude.
"Yes, many are late Christmas gift shoppers. Let's continue to hold hands. I wouldn't want Aberforth to kill me if you get lost," Amata mentioned. The two walked amongst the crowd.
"Oh, there is Madam Primpernelle's Beautification Potions," Amata dragged Ariana in through the brush streets. It was quite busy inside the purple shop.
Ariana felt attracted by scented fragrance. "This smells very good," Ariana smelled a bottle of perfume. She allowed Amata smell too.
"Oh, yes! You should take it!" Amata agreed it suited her.
"But I didn't bring any money," Ariana recalled leaving her piggy bank at home.
"Oh, right! Oops! Then, everything is on me!" Amata suggested she pays. Before Ariana could protest about the price," Let's take a look at the make up!" Amata took her to a crowd section of the shop.
"Ariana, you don't need to wear a lot of make up. Lips gloss, a little bit of blush, and a brow pencil would be fine. You have a natural face," Amata studied Ariana's face.
"Your skin looks perfectly fine. Maybe brighter skin," Amata grabbed random supplies.
"Excuse me! Can I have you apply all this on her?" Amata grabbed an employee and pointed to Ariana .
"Sure thing, right this way, ladies," the employee took her to empty chair in front of a mirror. The employee applied the products Amata chose for Ariana.
"Awww! She looks perfect!" The makeup artist complimented Ariana's beauty.
"A natural beauty," Amata showed Ariana a mirror. Ariana for the first time felt beautiful, she felt confident.
"We are ready to pay," Amata informed the lady. The lady check out the items," and this too," Amata placed the perfume Ariana selected.
"28 galleons" the cashier estimated the total price. Amata without hesitation. She handed the bag to Ariana.
The two girls left the shop," Amata, you didn't have to pay for me. I will make sure to pay you back," Ariana knew the items were expensive.
"Listen, I am an only child. I never had a brother or sister to spoil. You are very kind than most people I view you like my little sister. I know we have known each other much, but I want to be friends with you. You are special to me now, and I would like to spoil you," Amata explained her reason of willing spend so much.
"Thank you, but I don't want you to be poor because of me," Ariana would feel terrible if Amata spoiled her too much.
Amata laughed," Oh, you are so sweet, Ari. Trust me, you have nothing to worry about. My bank is perfectly fine," Amata winked before continuing there journey around the alley.
The girls shopped around for shoes, tried out dresses, shirts, sweater, pants, jewelry, etc. Amata didn't stop spoiling her, she took Ariana for hair salon, and got their nails done. No matter the amount spent, Amata and Ariana were enjoying themselves.
Then, Ariana paused staring at a beautiful necklace displayed on the window. Amata quietly notice. "Can we go buy a gift?" Ariana realized she hasn't gotten Gellert a Christmas gift.
"Sure, for who?" Amata knew the answer. She just wanted to hear it from Ariana.
"For Gellert, I want to gift him that?" Ariana pointed to a deathly hallow symbol displayed on the corner.
Amata's eyes widened. She knew what it meant wearing the Deathly Hallow symbol. "Are you sure?" Amata finally understood what the boys have been planning. Ariana nodded," Albus and Gellert will one day find it. Perhaps, all three, but I know Gellert strongly believes in it," Ariana said.
