Trinity & Loki - A Love Affair

Baby Steps

Loki was tossing and turning. He was having the nightmare again. The one where he attacked New York, won but then got betrayed and died alone and outcasted. And he couldn't even go home because he had gotten his brother and mother killed..so now what?
He jolted awake and groaned. He sat up on the side of the bed and sighed heavily.
"What does she see in me?" He thought as he looked back at Trinity sleeping. "I will never understand"
He got outta bed and went and turned on the shower. He needed something to clear his head. Some where to think and not disturb her.
He got undressed as the water was heating up and jumped in the shower. He let the warm water wash over him as he closed his eyes.
"I don't know why I am still here...she deserves some much better than a villain. I mean I almost lost control earlier this week." He was lost deep in thought.
He didn't noticed that Trinity had came into the bathroom looking for him.
All of a sudden, he felt her arms wrap around him.
He couldn't help but smile to himself. Whenever she was around him, he felt a sense of stability and calm that he had never experienced. He couldn't put his finger on why though.
"Hey handsome..I woke up and missed you..you okay?"
He turned around to face her and looked down at her. "I am now that you're here. I'm sorry I woke you."
"Oh you didn't babe." She noticed something was bothering him.
"Um do you want to be alone?" She slowly pulled back but he instantly grabbed her back to him.
"Please don't leave me. I...I had a bad nightmare and I..." He gulped some because he never really felt comfortable being vulnerable..."need you...I am sorry..." He sighed and looked down.
She gently pulled his face to meet hers. "Never ever apologize for how you feel. I understand how hard it is to let someone in but I promise I will always have you. Whenever you're ready. So am I."
He reached down and passionately kissed her, then brought his eyes back to hers.
"Thank you!" He then looked her up and down. "Not that I am complaining but umm what is this?"
Trinity looked down and blushed some. "I ...I wanted to surprise you. I am trying my best to not be embarrassed to show you everything...even though I hate how I look..Baby steps."
"Well it definitely is a very nice surprise...and to me, you look very ravishing...all this is mine" He said in a low tone as he ran his hand down her hips.
She giggled as she blushed. "Only to look and maybe touch haha..I..I am not ready for everything yet.
He kept moving his hands all over her. "That is fine my pet. I will wait as long as you need. But just know...you look amazing to me and I love your body."
She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.
They spent the next few minutes passionately kissing each other.
She pulled back and turned him around to where his back was facing her.
"Um what you doing my love? I can't kiss you like this"
She giggled.."Haha that's all you wanna do eh? Well, I was trying to be nice and take care of you"
"Take care of me? How you going to..ooh right there..yes that is the spot.."
He said as she started massaging his shoulders and back.
Trinity just giggled as she kept massaging him. "Babe you feel tense..you okay?"
"He turned around to face her. "I just worried about you and a little about us"
She looked up at him a little confused and scared. "What do you mean?" She held her breath some as she pushed away from him.
"I. .I kinda went off on your so called friends the other night..." He rubs the back of his neck. "I just hate how they treat you..and I won't stand back and just let them do what they want anymore..."
She looked at him even more confused..."okay? And? What does that have to do with us? I am honestly surprised you kept quiet this long...but why you worried about us?"
Loki could see the fear in her eyes and the fact she wanted to go run and hide. He knew it was taking every ounce of her to not get out and leave.
He gently pulled her close to him.
"I..I am worried that if I fully protect you..then a side of me will come out that will scare you away...and I can't loose you."
Trinity looked up at him and smiled. "Boy, you are stuck with me...I can understand there is parts of you that you wanna keep hidden or feel is bad...but nothing will change my opinion of you...that you is a very amazing loving man who will set the world on fire to make sure im fine...and you are very charming and very very sexy ...especially standing there under the shower...and damn it"
She got out before it got more heated.
"Hey where you go?" He laughed.
"I..I said baby steps but if I don't get out then it won't be"
He couldn't help but smile to himself. He liked it when he made her come undone.

He finished up and got out. Wrapped a towel around him and went into the bedroom. He saw Trinity sitting on the bed, fidgeting with her hands. He kneeled in front of her and grabbed her hands.
"Hun what's wrong?"
"I...I don't mean to be a tease" She said defeatedly.
He cocked his head to the side. "What do you mean? I never once thought that."
She kept staring down at their hands. "It wasn't you. I got to thinking and I am my own worst enemy. I should just do it..and you don't got to wait"
He squeezed her hands a little tighter. "No! Never ever think or do that please..I can wait till you are fully ready. I never want you to feel pressure okay? I will take whatever you want to give me without making you feel guilty or self conscious

"Thank you...for being perfect..." She smiles as she placed her hand on the back of his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.
She kept pulling him to her until he was on top of her. They kept kissing passionately as he ran his hand down her leg and back up. He started kissing her neck and then got up quickly.
"Hey! That wasn't fair!" She laughed some.
"Well, to be honest, I won't be able to control myself around you like this...so yeah" He nervously laughed
She just smiled at him "Oh I like this...so much fun I could do" She smirked.
"But I will be nice..at first..but just wait till I am 100% comfortable"
"Oh boy! I'm in trouble haha"
"Maybe" She giggled "but for now, come snuggle with me"
"Give me one minute okay? I told my brother I would call him back" he said as he got up and grabbed his phone.
"Fine" She huffed and got all cozy under the blankets..."I'll be here waiting" She said in a low tone...
"Damn it woman" He thought to himself and walked out to the kitchen table.

He sat down at the table and dialed Thor's number.
"Hello brother, what's got you calling this late?"
"Hey err can we talk? I got myself in a predicament and I need your advise"
"You want to meet now?"
"Trinity is waiting on me now but I can do tomorrow morning...while she is at work."
"Sounds good..so meet you there at 10?"
"Sure!"
"You sure everything is fine? You sound ...different...Trinity okay?"
"Umm yeah she's fine...I am fine...just need to talk...so I'll see you tomorrow at 10"

He hung up before Thor tried to pry anymore. He usually kept his business to himself but something felt off and he needed a second opinion. And he couldn't ask the one person he did trust, because it was about her...so Thor is was.
