After the event of Rengoku literally becoming half-naked in Y/N's home, the two readied themselves and stepped outside into the vast yard.

The breeze was sweet and the sounds were musical. Y/N loved stepping out for the first time during daylight. It always brought a sense of calm around her. She did notice the thunderheads from the day before much closer, meaning rain was soon to come in the next few days.

"I am ready to see how strong you are, Nature Breather!" Rengoku got into his stance, unsheathing his katana. Y/N smiled under her mask. She has never sparred with anyone in her life.

"Same goes to you, Flame Hashira." She flipped her naginata around, ready to strike.

And then she was gone.

Nature Breathing: Eighth Form, Whispers in the Breeze

She appeared right before Rengoku in the matter of nanoseconds, and swung her naginata horizontally at his legs. As she did this, her legs did the splits, showing off her flexible body and amazing sense of leverage and balance.

She just disappeared! What immense speed!

He was able to jump and flip backwards, landing and immediately getting ready to attack.

Flame Breathing: Third Form, Blazing Universe

Taking a huge lunge towards her, he struck downwards on her naginata, but was met with an impassible upwards force, throwing him backwards. He landed on his feet, but was once again met with another attack. She knew how to keep up and overwhelm her opponent.

Nature Breathing: First Form, Rain After the Drought

This was the same exact attack that she had inflicted on him last time, significantly wounding him and making him unable to use Total Concentration: Constant. He knew this was a very hard attack to evade. But he did it anyways.

With every downward slash that came his way, he managed to block, minus the couple of times he was nicked in the face or on his hands. He manage a quick slash to put distance in between their two bodies.

They came into close-range fighting, their swords clashing and clanking against one another. It was a deadly dance of flame and nature. When he struck, she struck harder. When he moved fast, she was even faster.

Her speed is rivaled to that of Tengen's... No, hers is much, much more!

Rengoku knew the basics and some details of every single Breathing Form after reading her book. Yet he still couldn't keep up. She was too agile, too unpredictable. She was quite literally the embodiment of a force of nature. And she was definitely living up to that term.

Nature Breathing: Seventh Form, Babbling Brook

Rengoku watched in awe as she moved seamlessly around him, twisting and turning like a stream of water. It mesmerized him how someone could flow like that. He had never seen anything like it before in his life. It was breathtaking.

He was able to dodge the attack, and Y/N landed behind him, her back to him. But before she could even breathe, before she could even move, she felt him.

Flame Breathing: First Form, Unknowing Fire

He was right behind her. Before she could even think, her body moved on its own.

She did a backwards aerial to dodge, which was an extremely risky move, considering the proximity. She landed on her feet gracefully, feeling a familiar flush of air across her face. It felt nice, like splashing cold water on her face after training, or taking a dip in the small chasm of water on a super hot and sunny day.

She turned around and smiled at Rengoku proudly, who was already looking at her, wide-eyed and seemingly dumbfounded. His face erupted into a furious red color. Y/N crumpled her brow in confusion, but then she understood.

There on the ground, laying not ten feet away from her, was her mask.
