જ⁀➴❝ TRAINING WAS ALL THAT Y/N could think of for the next week. ❞
She busied herself with whatever she could find, anxiously waiting for Tanjiro and Inosuke to come out of their current comatose state.
Her routine was harsh yet somehow lenient, considering she needed to find solace in a progressive schedule due to her most recent battle with none other than Kibutsuji Muzan. He had completely destroyed her and knocked her off-kilter, bringing forth a tidal wave of suffocating memories that she would rather forget.
About seven years ago, Kibutsuji uprooted her life in search of the girl who could make Blue Spider-Lillies with her blood. Rumors had circulated, and somehow, he was willing to take the chance with them to find her. Thus, in the process, he destroyed the entire lineage of the Chikyuu clan.
The Nature Breathers.
The people who created a breathing style powerful enough to rival the first ever created, Sun Breathing. It took centuries of practicing and cultivating to create the nine forms that existed today, just for them to be demolished and hung to dry with the flick of a wrist and the lighting of a match.
Y/N had met with Ubuyashiki to talk about the circumstances of her memories, and how they had been regained. And yet with all of the newfound information, there were still too many holes and gaps that needed to be filled in. Things like:
How did I recognize Muzan, not for a first, but for a second time?
Where did the remnants of the other estates that had burnt down go?
How did I survive my battle with Kibutsuji?
Luckily, Kagaya offered some explanation. Well, to at least what he knew about the estates.
The year he had became Master of the Demon Slayer Corps, he had been informed of a clan that resided outside of the typical boundaries of the Corps. They were separate from the institution, but bound into becoming a counterpart due to having the same cause and ideals. They worked closely with the Corps, providing residence for Slayers and even offering training to those they respected and deemed worthy. Since they were skilled in stone, water, flower, insect, wind, and mist techniques, some even knowing concepts of flame and sound, they were said to be some of the best trainers to have ever lived. And yet none of them gave away the principles of Nature Breathing.
