Thinking of you on Father's Day, with your dad not being here,
I hope you know he watches you, and is always so very near!
Up to the day he died, his love for you was so strong,
It must feel like ages that you spoke to him, sometimes... too long!!
Those days that you did have, were always worth while and lots of fun,
Just know that he is with you today! And every day that comes!
I know what it's like to miss a dad, but I don't know that feeling so young...
I wish I could take that away from you, but I can't undo what's done....
I'll be here for you, forever,
Whatever life throws your way,
We'll get through it together!
