"Clash of clans"
Aadvik's POV
I don't know what was happening to me. AGAIN!!!
I AM AADVIK, a reserved and observant person , but why am I finding myself captivated by Aashika's thoughts. In the bustling streets of Delhi, amidst the chaos and noise, her voice resonated within me in a way I had never experienced. Despite my lack of experience with romantic relationships, I just felt a deep connection with her, unlike any other woman I had encountered. As we conversed, I couldn't help but notice the familiarity of Aashika's voice, echoing memories of a chance encounter with a girl at the sweet shop in Udaipur. The resemblance was uncanny, leading me to wonder whether Aashika and the girl from Udaipur were one and the same. However, I decided to dismiss the idea as mere coincidence, I just wanted to focus on how and what was happening to me.
Though, lingering in the back of my mind was the thought of Vihaan and I wondered how he would react. Aashika is his enemy's bestfriend. I couldn't shake the concern of how Vihaan would perceive our growing bond, though considering Aashika was the very woman I had intended to approach first. Despite the potential complications, my curiosity and attraction to Aashika has now outweighed my apprehensions.
Driven by my desire to connect with her further, I took a leap of faith and sent Aashika a friend request on Instagram, I could notstop thinking about the smile she passed to me while giving me her Instagram handle. Though I would have found her anyways. With each passing moment, my anticipation grew, wondering if she would accept and if our newfound connection would blossom into something more profound.
As I waited for her response, I reflected on the serendipitous nature of our encounter and the unpredictable twists of fate that we might face. Despite the uncertainties that lay ahead, I was determined to explore this newfound connection with Aashika, guided by the hope that our paths had crossed for a reason.
And within 27 minutes my phone buzzed with a notification. It said:
"@aashikasingh_08 accepted your friend request."A gap of 2 seconds and
"@aashikasingh_08 requested to follow you"I started jumping with joy. I had won for life.
Author's POV:
It was Sunday, Mayra was lounging at home, enjoying a rare moment of relaxation with aashika, when her phone interrupted the peace. It was her secretary, her tone immediately raising concern. "What happened, is everything alright?" Mayra inquired, her voice steady.
The news that followed shattered the calm. "Our old client, Mrs. Bedi, has cancelled the deal between us," her secretary informed her, her words dripping with worry.
"Why did she do that?" Mayra's tone turned cold, her frustration barely contained.
With trepidation, her secretary continued, "She got a better deal from Mr. Malhotra."
Mayra's anger surged, a wave of fury threatening to overwhelm her. She ended the call abruptly, the need to confront Mr. Malhotra consuming her. Dialing his number with trembling fingers, she unleashed her rage. "Why did you do that, you asshole??" she yelled into the phone, her voice laced with venom.
As Vihaan answered the call in first ring he sighed heavily, his head tilting to one side as he ran his fingers through his hair, the cigarette still firmly planted in his mouth. He couldn't deny the exhilaration coursing through him, watching Mayra suffer the consequences of her choices.
“Oh come on, don’t get mad at me like a little angry bird. I didn’t have much to do with it, she just liked my offer better,” he remarked, shrugging slightly with a smirk before taking another drag on his cigarette. It was a dangerous game he was playing, but the thrill was undeniable.
Vihaan sat back in his chair, a smirk playing on his lips as Mayra's anger boiled over. He relished in pushing her buttons, watching her struggle to contain her fury. Mayra clenched her fists, trying to hide her anger, but Vihaan could see right through her facade."You know what? Who cares?" Mayra yelled, attempting to brush off the situation.
Vihaan raised an eyebrow at her remark but decided not to challenge her bluff. Instead, he took another drag on his cigarette, enjoying the spectacle. He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms, clearly amused by Mayra's frustration.
"You know, you’re too easy to anger. You should really learn to control your emotions," Vihaan remarked, provoking Mayra further.
Mayra's anger flared, and she couldn't hold back any longer. "Shut up, asshole!" she yelled, her fists clenched tightly.
Vihaan's smirk widened at her outburst, finding amusement in her raging emotions. He taunted her further, taking another drag on his cigarette.
"Make me," he challenged, his smugness evident in his tone.
Mayra felt a surge of powerlessness, her anger reaching its peak. With authority in her voice, she warned him, "Oh, I don’t think you want to see what I’m capable of!" And with that, she abruptly ended the call.
Mayra's POV:
I was pacing back and forth in my room, seething with anger. Vihaan had crossed the line now, and I couldn't contain my frustration. With every step, I muttered curses under my breath, wishing for a way to make him pay for his actions.
Just then, there was a knock on the door, and Aashika entered with a tub of my favorite vanilla ice cream. My anger softened at the sight of the comforting treat. She knew just how to calm me down.
As we indulged in the creamy sweetness, Aashika suggested plotting revenge against Vihaan too. My eyes lit up with mischief as we brainstormed ideas together, fueled by the desire for payback.
Amidst our scheming, Aadvik sent an invitation to aashika for a Holi celebration at his place. Aashika hesitated for a bit and offered to decline if I wasn't comfortable with it.
I wasn't uncomfortable, but I was not ready to trust him either but anyways I saw this as the perfect opportunity to execute our plan against Vihaan MalhotraWith a devious grin, I urged over to Aashika amd made her accept the invitation. I saw it as the ideal setting to get back at Vihaan, to show him that I wouldn't be pushed around. As we continued plotting, my determination only grew stronger, fueled by the promise of sweet revenge.
