The Song of Forever

Aashika's POV

"Give that back!" I screamed at aadvik who was running with my laptop in his hand.
"No! You have been so stubborn these days." He said, his hands above his head carrying my laptop like it's air.

"I have been living here for 6 months, aadvik, I have to leave someday. Give that back so that I can continue to search for the flats. " I retorted, throwing my hands in the air.

"Someday, but not until she comes back. Imagine seeing me without head once she comes to know about this." He said, placing my laptop above the cupboard that was almost twice my height. And the 'she' was actually the 'she-devil' aka 'Mayra'.
It's been 2 days since we had an argument about the situation. It's hard to sleep with being mad at her. She is my best friend after all. She thinks I am only safe with him but since past months, there was no stalker problem. Nor I ever felt unsafe.
Though I love living here and I might end up crying in my sleep once I leave the house but I have to de- attach someday, and sooner it is possible, lesser it would hurt.

I was searching for a flat nearby, and that had pissed off both of them. I know they care about me but it's high time, I become Mayra of my own life.
I mean I can fight, I got my nails that can dig deeper than any axe. And I have learned many self defence moves.

I am 24 for god's sake. I am mad at them.
And this time, I am not letting this go easily.

"You want a change right?" A firm voice whispered in my ear. Aadvik and the his magical voice ofcourse.
I feel like addicted to it.
"Yes, You letting me go now?" I asked, as a smile touched my lips.

"Yes, you may leave...." He paused and I was about to jump in excitement when he started again, "The room."

Agh!!!
"You know the problem is not related with the room." I said going away from him.

He grabbed my hand and pulled towards him again, he was hugging me from behind and he whispered AGAIN.
"You can move in my room, Lily."
I was shot back with his words. Was he in his senses?
I closed my eyes feeling his warm body hovering over me and just as I processed his words I said, my voice was a little high this time
"Are you mad? What will mumma think of this? And others?" I paused and continued, "Also Mr. Aadvik, I am not your girlfriend nor your wife."

He suddenly twirled me between his fingers making me face him and held my waist and closed the distance between us and looked into my eyes, I was standing numb between his hands that covered my whole waist like I was some kind of doll.
As he stared into my eyes I could tell, this was 32nd time we were so close and it felt like we will kiss any second, but that never happens , sometimes someone enters, sometimes one of us backs off.
It's hard to maintain eye contact with him for more than 8 seconds. No that I was not counting.....
"Look here!" He said, lifting up my chin so that our eyes meet again.
We stared at each other's eyes for another 7 seconds, before I moved my eye to the flower pot beside us.
I closed my eyes, feeling nervous of his touch on my waist and his eyes on my face.
He moved my face closer to him, and for another time I felt, this was it. He is gonna kiss me. Finally!
But the nervousness just grew and was about to explode when I heard him chuckling, as he pinched my nose. I opened my eyes and saw his beautiful face, still so close that I could smell his breath but what was this behaviour.
I pushed him in the chest and went out of the room.
He was such a pain in ass sometimes.
I walked furiously in the corridor of the mansion when someone grabbed my hand and I ended up in one of the hundreds of room of the mansion.
And I faced him again, agh! The audacity of this guy to tease me and stay gorgeous.

"I was serious." He said, tracing his finger on my shoulders.
Fuck butterflies in stomach, I was feeling like a butterfly right now.
I gathered the courage and replied, "When aadvik? Please do tell when are you serious?" I said, folding my hands over my chest.
He leaned on the wall, his face facing mine, and his right hand on the wall behind me.
He leaned on, AGAIN.
I was not gonna fall for his traps now, I maintained the eye contact this time, glaring him right into his eyes. Because I knew, this man? Kissing me? Not a chance. Not now.
