The ball room
Aashika's POV:
"Nothing a cold coffee can't fix!" I said sighing and sipping the cold coffee in my hand as Aadvik drived. It has been over a month since I moved in with him and his family and I was beyond happy because all of them treated me like their own blood. Not to mention I am now their favorite.
I wish Mayra was here too, but I don't get a chance to miss her, we are almost calling each other for hours even if it is in the middle of a freaking night. she is assured that the mother fucker AKA the creep stalker ain't gonna harm me as I continue to stay in protection of Aadvik but she still worries and deep down I know she thinks I am unsafe because of her.
God this girl!!
"You've already had 4 cups, Lily! What are they doing to you?" Aadvik said, pointing out to the AIIMS, "They are making me do all the work, see my hands! they are paler and my face, my God!! so dull." I dramtically replied, mocking him.
"I am not fragile Mr. Oberoi! Coffee just runs in my blood! without it, I am Nothing. ""Without you, I am nothing." He said, smoothly to which, I was left speechless. I wonder if he was butter in his previous life, because the amount of flirting he has done with me in this past month, I might not get it even if takes my whole life.
Anyways, I was more comfortable with him now, or anything that concerned him. I was basically a passenger princess in car and actually a princess at home.
My part at AIIMS is difficult but low-key, I enjoyed it. I have always enjoyed doing things that seem hard and difficult. I don't know why but such works feel like magnets to me. That's why I call medicine my passion
and AIIMS my dream after all.
"Any plans for this weekend? My heart aches for some fun." I said, breaking the silence.
"I'll arrange something." He said, his reply very soft and straight.
I haven't been out much due to pressure but now that all the practical are finally off my head, I really either need a day long 'no - disturb' sleep or some fun. if Mayra was here, she might have as well dragged me to a bar or something , though I hated there, but meeting new people was something I always envied. I miss her, and her stupid things that had makes us quite opposite. I wonder how she is handling being alone, atleast I have people surrounded here. she probably had thrown herself to work. Obviously, that is the Mayra I know of.Suddenly, a ringing sound buzzed in the air, It was Aadvik's phone that had rang, he picked up and I was amazed.
the call lasted hardly 20 seconds. the other line said something and Aadvik replied, "I'll be glad to attend." before disconnecting the call.
what happened to 'hi? hello? how are you?'
"Who was it?" I asked, curiosity rising in my veins.
"An invitation for a ball party this weekend. Be my date?" He said, "You wanted a break this weekend. right?"
"Oh yes. But I don't know much about this business world and such parties." I said.
"I'll be by your side, Lily. don't worry, I know how much you enjoy doing new things."
