Love and Hate
Aashika's POV
As Aadvik swung open the heavy oak door of his grand villa, I couldn't help but feel a rush of anticipation. It was my first time stepping foot inside, and the sight that greeted me was nothing short of breathtaking. The spacious foyer exuded an aura of luxury, with marble floors gleaming under the soft glow of crystal chandeliers. A grand staircase curved gracefully upwards, leading to the upper floors of the villa.
"Give me your coat, your highness" Aadvik's voice broke through my reverie, snapping me back to reality. I blushed a little and took off my coat that I carried. He gestured for me to enter, a faint smile playing on his lips. "I hope you feel like home here". He said, placing my coat on the hanger neer the door. I smiled back and started to walk through the villa when I noticed Aadvik murmuring something to his servants, I took a moment to glance around the foyer, my eyes drinking in the opulence of his surroundings. The drawing room, visible from where I stood, was adorned with plush velvet sofas and intricate Persian rugs, a testament to Aadvik's refined taste.
I followed Aadvik's lead as he made his way to the kitchen, the tantalizing aroma of spices wafting through the air. "I hope you don't mind, but I've taken the liberty of dismissing the cook for the evening," he explained, flashing me a mischievous grin. "I thought we could try our hand at cooking dinner together."
"Wasn't it enough for the evening? Don't kill me with surprises Aadvik." . I said, shockingly because damn the man was above the explanation of perfect. He knew how to cook!!!
"Well, you are yet to see other sides of me miss, prepare yourself." He said, closing our distance, his hands on my waist"Fine! But atleast let me help you" I offered to help, that came put more as a whisper but Aadvik politely declined, insisting that he had everything under control. As he set about preparing the ingredients, I watched him with fascination, marveling at the ease with which he moved around the kitchen. God, he was irresistible and hot at the same time.
"I don't want dinner, I want to eat the one cooking dinner." I murmured making sure he doesn't hear my shamelessness.
"You said something?" He asked, his eyes on the vegetables.
He didn't heard me, did he?"I said, let me help with the dessert. Please." I said, changing the whole subject of my mind.
"Okay! You may. Dairy products are in the fridge." He said smiling.
I excitedly walked here and there and disturbed him in middle. In short, created a chaos while he worked but he just kept on smiling and handled things without getting mad at me.
He was impossible, finally I gave up and
Soon we found ourselves engrossed in conversation about bollywood, his taste matched mine.
"Favorite movie?", he asked.
"Aashiqui 2. Everytime. Yours?" I said pouring milk in a utensil."Watching you is my favorite to see for now. You changed me." He said staring at my eyes for a while until I slapped his shoulders with the spoon. He took another spoon and tapped it on my shoulder. And the fight began with the gentle clinking of utensils providing a soothing backdrop to our exchange. With each passing moment, I found myself drawn to Aadvik in ways I couldn't quite explain.
