"I'll be back, just be careful with everything and stop being sweetheart to everyone. Make sure you have a knife and pepper spray with you everywhere. And yes, don't hesitate before using it. I don't care if you murder somebody...",
She was ranting while packing my clothes. I was still upset that she decided everything on her own without asking me. But I know her concern, it really must be some serious issue.

"Are you even listening?" She scolded me to grab me out of my thoughts.

"Yes mom. I know. you have a safe flight and stop worrying about me. Aadvik is here." I assured her while hugging her from behind. I knew and I was pretty sure that nothing would happen to me.

"I love you. I am sorry." She said hugging me back, her voice seemed to be in guilt. ofcourse.

"Why are you apologizing? you are "just a girl" remember?" I said, lifting her mood.
She smiled and turned her face towards me. I smiled back as she stared at me face for few seconds before taking me into her arms again.

God!! the moment I get the male version of her. I would happily marry him.

"C'mon!!! you'll be late Mayra!!"
I screamed as she hurriedly put her cases in back of Aadvik's car. Yes! He was driving Mayra to the airport and then I'll be off with him to his villa.

I sat on the back seat with Mayra, while Aadvik drove to the airport. They were discussing every possible way to protect me no matter if that makes me look like a penguin. While I just murmured songs playing in the car like an adoptive child who doesn't care.

Once we realized the airport was near, we knew we were going to cry. neither of us showed because I know if I cried, she'll everything just to be by my side and she knew if a tear dropped down her cheeks, I won't be able to control myself for crying like a 13 year old girl, who just broke up with her first boyfriend. We just smiled at each other hiding our pain.
The smile was genuine and reassuring that we'll meet soon.

With that she left me. At that point when we were done with our goodbyes and she was no more visible to my eyes. I cried. It felt like no one was around me, even in crowded place, I couldn't feel anyone around me. all the flashbacks of our time were in front of me, the best moments of my life till now and all I knew was I was alone in this big city.

But then I felt a hand on my shoulder.
There stood Him, Aadvik, smiling at me. I don't know why but that smile pulled me out of the anxiety I was feeling. I felt more safe as he stood there, by my side. he took my hand and we made our way to the car again.

"You are safe with me." He assured breaking the silence.
I stared at his green eyes as his eyes remain on the road. "I know!" I whispered, audible enough for his ears.

He looked at me as the words left my mouth and smiled. AGAIN.
His smile is going to be my death one day, like a portrait I can stare at it for hours and days and weeks and years.

"If you continue to stare at me like that, we might end up in the hospital sweetheart." His voice broke my thoughts as I realized I have been staring at him like a hungry person when they see food. Well, he is at the fault.

I gathered my consciousness and blushed a little, I don't know why but his existence made my anxiety go and yet I could feel the rush in my heart.

"We are here!" Aadvik exclaimed as he pulled the car to his large villa. The villa seemed more big than it was before, I glanced at the view of the pretty garden and the birds as he parked the car. I got the serene view as Aadvik got out of the car and pulled out my luggage, and SMILED. He has to stop doing that thing now or I might lose my self control.

We entered the villa and I saw how pretty it is from inside as it is from the outside. I stepped in and a little boy , probably 7 to 8 years old, screamed as he ran here and there, "Aadvik chachu brought her, He brought the beautiful girl". I was astonished but a smile made its way to my mouth as Aadvik ran and caught the boy and lifted him up which made him giggle.
Why is my man so perfect?

All his family members gathered at the main hall as they heard his screaming. I was nervous, what if they don't like me?
He'd already told me about his family so I knew them from the details he gave. I made my way to the eldest member of his family, his grandfather, I touched his feet and he stopped me from touching them and said smiling, "Girls don't touch the feet in the Oberoi mansion." and folded his hands. I smiled and said, "ok uncle!". As I turned around I slightly folded my hand and said "Namaste" to everyone. they all smiled at me and patted my head.

Suddenly someone said, " She is prettier than the picture that you showed me." I was amazed by the confession, and looked at Aadvik who was already staring at the speaker.
"Hello beta! I am Aadvik's mother" she said coming towards me. I smiled at her and bowed to her. she came near and took the kajal from her eyes and put a dot behind my neck.
"Thank you aunty!" I smiled and said.
"Don't call me aunty, I am still young. Call me mummy or mom or whatever Aadvik calls me" she said and caressed my cheek.

Once we were done with the introduction part Aadvik said,
"come, I'll show you your room." and I nodded.
I was already very tired as I haven't slept well because of Mayra's sudden leave.
"Rest for a while then we'll have lunch."
I smiled, as I noticed that he cares alot for me. I never had anyone in my life who cared for me, except Mayra, it was like he was her male version except I loved her more.

I saw two rooms from a distance which were exactly opposite to one another.
"That room you see, is mine and this is yours." He said, clarifying my doubt that I didn't even said. He does know how to read my mind.
"Wow! now I can disturb you anytime I want." I said.
"That was the plan." He said, flirted, whatever.I just gave him a smirk and entered the room.

It was not the guest room where I spent my night before. It was another one, more beautiful, more dreamy.
"Make yourself at home Lily, my family loves you already." He said, leaning against the doorframe.
"I wonder why?" I said.
"Because you are YOU." He said and winked.
"Enough! my ears might Bleed." I heard someone screaming from my behind.

Before I could process it Aadvik held my hand and a shadow appeared from the bathroom.
"Vihaan??", Aadvik said, surprised.
"Whatever", he replied.
He moved closer to us and looked a me for few seconds before saying,
"You resemble to my sister." He said, his eyes still on my face.
"Tripti?" , Aadvik said, "you haven't seen her in ages, it's impossible she looks like her."
"I know my sister, dickhead." Vihaan said while I was still processing things.

"Vihaan." He said, taking out his hand from his pockets for a handshake.
"I know who you are." I said, afterall Mayra's enemy are mine.
"I came here just to tell you that as I said, you look like my sister and I ofcourse miss her so I would love if you gave me a chance to treat you like one."
He said, his voice calmer than I imagined. I don't know why but I felt like he was my own brother.
"I never had a big brother." I replied, why am I this emotional?
"You got one, sis." He said and smiled before leaving.

"I think you should rest now." Aadvik said, concerned.
"I guess." I said and made my way to the bed.
"Call me if you need anything." He said before leaving.

I do love Delhi more now.
