After getting back to the cars after narrowly avoiding being hit by sprinklers everyone went their separate ways. Robby jumped in the car with Sera and they headed to Robby's apartment.

"My mom's gonna kill me when she finds out I was going to break probation" Robby laughed he looked at Sera "What about you, how are your parents going to feel knowing that their rich girl daughter is slumming it with kids on probation and getting into fights?"

Sera's face hardened and her grip on the wheel tightened as a well "I wouldn't know"

Robby fell silent for a moment. "Do you want to talk about-" she cut him off quickly "No!" she sighed. There was a moment of silence as Sera deliberated, she sighed again.

"My grandfather was always obsessed with having a family, with having a legacy to carry on his name. This obsession led my grandmother to go to an early death. My mother died in childbirth having me so it was just me, my grandfather and my dad."

Taking a deep breath she continued "I was maybe 10 when my father left me in the care of my grandfather, he didn't want to see me again, he didn't want any contact with me. Apparently I reminded him to much of my mother and he couldn't bear it any longer. I've lived with my grandfather ever since"

"Wow I-I didn't know." she quickly cut him off "Don't worry no one does. It's not something I usually talk about, with you it doesn't feel so bad."

Robby didn't know how to feel, he'd met this girl less than 24 hours ago and already she felt close enough to him to expose something so personal. He felt obligated so he shared his story. He told Sera about his father and his mother, everything he did to survive, his life in Miyagi-Do, hid relationship with Sam and the incident at the high school.

Sera just drove, silently listening to each story and by time he had finished they had arrived at the apartment.

"Well I've had a good night" Robby mused, he gave Sera a genuine smile "See you tomorrow then Sera?"

"Yeah" she smiled back "See you" she watched him walk into the apartment before driving back to the penthouse. When she got there her grandfather greeted her "Seraphina, my dear how was it?"

Sera explained the night she told him how great everyone from Cobra Kai was and she talked about her new friends, he seemed really pleased that she was fitting in. However when she told him about their encounter with Miyagi-Do and the close sprinkler prank he called Kreese.

"Ah Terry, to what do I owe the pleasure" Kreese asked sarcastically. "The Miyagi-Do's have targeted our students tonight, my granddaughter included. It was some kind of prank with sprinklers"

Kreese chuckled darkly "Now you see what we're dealing with. As long as LaRusso and Lawrence are together, our students have a target on their backs. We have to strike back."

"No." Silver said. This surprised Sera, she thought Silver would want to Strike Back. "I agreed to come back to do what we originally set out to do. To turn kids into winners. To bring Cobra Kai back to its former glory. But if we're gonna do that, we have to learn from our mistakes."

"What mistakes?" Sera muttered to herself but she was ignored and her grandfather continued taking too Kreese over the phone "You had the entire Valley in the palm of your hand and you blew it. All because of the rivalry you had with Miyagi."

"He attacked my students." Kreese justified "You weren't there. I'll never forget that morning when Johnny Lawrence, my champion, he came into the dojo with a black eye. And his confidence? Shattered. I wasn't gonna let that old man get away with that."

"I understand." Silver tried to calm him down "But now, we're the old men. And we should use the wisdom we've learned. Cobra Kai, it was never about revenge. It was about building strength by taking your fears and turning them into a weapon. That's what we should be focused on. If we're just gonna rehash the past, history will just repeat itself all over again."

Sera burst out "So you're saying, after they tried to humiliate us, we just stand down and do nothing?"

"No dear, of course not. I didn't say we'd do nothing." the sinister intent behind his eyes made Sera wish she had stayed quiet. Silently she bade her grandfather good night and she went to her room.
