CARMEN was on the ground. She opened her eyes when she started to look around where she was and where her mother had teleported her. She was outside of camp with Thalias tree in her eyesight. "Ow!" She yelled out looking at the sky to get her mothers attention. Till she heard a voice call out to her.
"Carmen!" Percy yelled out as he ran towards Carmen. Who was on the ground. She looked up at him and smiled. He looked down at her outfit. "When did you get new clothes?"
She laughed, "Perks of being Aphrodite's kid." She shrugged. He smiled as he held out his hand towards her. She took his hand as they both started to walk to camp.
"Did you find out what Zeus meant about the abandoned daughter of Aphrodite, prophecy meant?" Percy asked as they were hand in hand walking to camp.
"My mom didn't tell me anything, she said time would tell." Carmen said as she continued to walk. Percy nodded.
"I guess we are the Prophecy kids." Percy winked making Carmen laugh.
They had made it to camp were they would see the kids at camp in a line clapping for them. Travis was there as well as his brother. Travis glared at the conjoined hands of Percy and Carmen, but he ignored the anger. He was happy that she had made it back to camp safely.
As Percy and Carmen were walking they made eye contact with Annabeth. She ran towards Carmen and gave her a huge hug. Carmen hugged her back. And Annabeth gave Percy a hug.
Annabeth pulled apart and looked at her two friends, "Did you see her yet?" Carmen furrowed her brows then followed Percy's eyesight. And Carmen made eye contact with Clarisse who stood there crossing her arms.
"Why is she—."
"Don't say anything. I'll explain." Annabeth mumbled to Percy.
Carmen then continued to look at Clarisse till she pulled away from her friends ignoring the calls from Percy. She ran towards Clarisse till she was face to face with her best friend throwing her arms around her.
"I am so sorry." Carmen mumbled as she was starting to cry in her best friend arms.
Clarisse melted in her arms, "I'm sorry too Paloma."
