AS she started to cry mascara running down her little bambi eyes. "Blair how I hate those guys!" This is what makes up girls. They all look for heaven and they put love first. Something that we die for it's a curse, don't cry about it.

Blair Rising the girl Carmen Miranda met when she was in-rolled in school. She started to live with her father after she showed up randomly that day confronting Samuel. Her mom Aphrodite had made an appearance talking to her daughter and Samuel. Then that's why she started to live with her father and wouldn't live in camp full-time any longer.

"It's not your fault they're insufferable." Blair muttered as she saw the teenage boys walking away with scowls on their faces.

The boys, Elijah Gwerd, Nate Lonestrom and Kyle Hurond were boys who annoyed Blair and Carmen. They would annoy Carmen all because this girl is beautiful. And Blair for being the girls friend. Elijah had dusty brown hair with gray hairs peaking out already but he was only 14 with his eyes black. Nate had long greasy hair to the point you would use his greasy hair for cooking oil. Kyle was a red head but his hair was not a beautiful red color like this girl Carmen would see named Rachel. It was a cheeto color when you have cheese dust on your finger tips.

"Why can't they leave us alone?" Carmen mumble as she wiped away the tear that left her eyes. They would all shoot their shot and they wouldn't leave her alone. Till she had to let them all down again they all threw hissy fits and start to scream out obscenities to the girls.

Blair shrugged her shoulders as she pulled her friend to her feet for her to walk with her to class. The two friends walked side by side as they made their way to gym class.

"Carmen!" Percy yelled out as she was dodging dodgeball's seeing the big burly 'kids' throwing the to her and this other girl he had never seen before. He still called out to her and she couldn't hear him.

"Blair!" Carmen cried out towards the girl Percy had never seen before.

"Carmen! Duck!" Blair yelled out as she grabbed her friends hand and dragged her down to the floor avoiding all of the flying dodgeballs. They were not normal dodgeballs they were flaming dodgeballs made from celestial bronze.

Percy couldn't do anything but witness what was happening and took it in. Before a dodgeball was about to hit the two girls he woke up.

"Oh shit—" A boy said beside Carmen as a ball flew straight at him. The boy then fell clinching his stomach and walked away from the court. Carmen looked him took a deep breath than made eye contact with Blair. 'I don't want to die.' Blair just shrugged her shoulders with sorry eyes.

"Carmen!" Blair screamed pointing at the opposite side of gym making Carmen turn to see what she was pointing at. There was a dodgeball coming straight to her face. Before the ball was going to make contact she ducked.

"Are you trying to kill me?" She yelled out to the person who threw the ball that banged at the wall of the gym leaving a loud smack and echo.

"Yes Carmen Miranda! Indeed!" The huge 'guy' who looked ten times much older than all the kids on the opposite team. They're were 3 of these huge looking men. There was no way they were still in school.

Blair and Carmen shared a look before this time only this time the ball didn't bounce it exploded. "Carmen!" Blair yelled grabbing her hand and both went down to the ground.

"What are those?!" Carmen yelled out.

"Lastrygonian giants! But why would they come all the way to Chicago?!" Blair screamed. Then a ball started to go straight to them. Luckily they rolled away.

Carmen reached into her hair un clipping her hair clip and grabbing Kalopsia. While Blair took off her bracelet and got her bow and arrow Serein.

"We lastigorians aren't just plain for your death. We want lunch!" One of the giants yelled. As Carmen ran towards them with the energy she had left and swung her axe towards the Lastigorian and Blair used her bow to shoot at 3 giants.

The giant laughed. "My lunch approaches." He raised his arm to throw. She braced herself to die.Suddenly the giant's body went rigid. His expression changed from gloating to surprise. Right where his belly button should've been, his T-shirt ripped open and he grew something like a horn—no, not a horn—the glowing tip of a blade. The ball dropped out of his hand. The monster stared down at the knife that had just run him through
from behind.

He muttered, "Ow," and burst into a cloud of green flame, which figured was going to make the others pretty upset. Standing in the smoke was Annabeth. Her face was grimy and scratched. She had a ragged backpack slung over her shoulder, her baseball cap tucked in her pocket, a bronze knife in her hand, and a wild look in her eyes, like she'd just been chased a thousand miles by ghosts.

Standing beside her was Percy and another tall boy. He threw himself forward with Riptide in his hands 'killing' another one of the giants. "Carmen!" He yelled as she looked over the last giant was beside her. He grabbed her body making her drop Kalopsia. He was about to run kill the last Lastigorian.

"Let go of me!" Carmen yelled out her hair thrashing around her face as the Giant laughed.

"Pretty demigod tastier." He said opening his mouth. Till Percy was beat by Annabeth who threw her knife and Blair who shot another arrow straight into its eye.

The giant started to drift into dust making Carmen to start to fall. Blair ran towards her. Till the tall boy that was beside Percy got there quicker catching Carmen in his arms.

"Thank you." She said as she opened her eyes looking at the one who caught her.

"You are pretty." He said with a smile. Which she returned with a laugh.
