AARON
"I CANT BELIEVE THE GAME WAS TIED." Dylan screams for the hundredth time. It's starting to get so fucking annoying. "LIKE NEVER IN THE LAST TEN FUCKING YEARS HAS THAT HAPPENED. WOLVES AND CUBS DONT TIE. EVER." he throws his arms in the air.
"Oh my God, shut up!" Grayson shouts. I chuckle, and throw my empty plastic water bottle at Dylan's head.
He dramatically gasps as he flips me off before he picks up his phone. "Hey guys, want to hang out with Kasey and Rylie tomorrow?" he asks.
"No." Grayson and I say in unison.
"C'mon, we aren't actually friends unless we all hang out together."
"that's because we aren't friends." Grayson spits out as he keeps his eyes glued to his phone.
Dylan then drops to his knees, puts his hands together and begs. "Please! Please! Please! Please! PLEASE!"
"Fine! Just shut the fuck up!" Grayson shouts. I chuckle and shake my head.
"Yay! We're going to the arcade tomorrow at seven, okay?"
I loudly groan before nodding.
This is going to be a hell of a ride.

I hate Mondays. And school.
"Aaron!" a female voice whispers to me. I look in the direction and see Kasey looking at me. "Read the second paragraph of page three hundred." I make a confused face and look around the room until my eyes land on the History teacher.
"Oh." I clear my throat and start reading to the class the second paragraph aloud to the class.
As I'm reading, I look next to me to see Rylie completely spaced out. Like she's in a whole different world.
Is she actually high?
Once I finish the mini paragraph I was told to read, I sit back down.
I again look over to Rylie, her leg is shaking and she's still spaced out.
I nudge her. Suddenly, her leg stops shaking and her head snaps to mine. For a second I make eye contact with her, before breaking it.
RYLIE
Every once in a while I'll zone out.
Sometimes the withdrawal gets to me. And anytime I do end up thinking about relapsing, they get to me, sometimes it feels like nothing matters, like your not doing anything right, like you have no one and yet your still pushing through it even though you can't.
Even though you don't want to.
The lunch room is starting to grr more and more crowed and teenagers push through to get to their usual lunch tables.
As soon as I sit down, I put my head on the table.
When all of a sudden, I feel a light tap on my shoulder. I look up to see Kasey, Dylan and Aaron staring at me.
"Are you okay?" Kasey asks me as concern starts to take over her face.
I nod, "Yeah, I'm fine."
I glance over to Dylan and Aaron who are both scanning my face with their eyes. "Are you sure? You've been off like all day. Even in art and you always make these cool ass drawings." Dylan explains.
"Im fine, I swear."
My phone then vibrates. I look down at it to see Eli calling me.
"Who's Eli?" Kasey asks as she looks over my shoulder. Without responding I get up and answer the call.
