Chap 8 : Cliché

Sydney 's P.O.V.

"Daddy. Daddy."

A little girl was jumping in front of me. I looked at Brawdon confused and so him chuckle. Why is he hiding now. I feel that underneath this sweet caring boy is someone with many secrets. Many secrets.

"Hi are you my mommy?"

Wait mommy! I am definitely not her mommy.

"Sorry but I am not your mommy."

I told her and then a small tear escaped from her eyes. I felt my heart shattered.

"But if you would like I can play with you? You want that?" I want to make it up to her.

But why did she called Brawdon daddy and me mommy? I will demand an explanation for that , but when I asked Brawdon he said that he has a little sister maybe she was his little sister. I don't know it's still confusing.

"You will?" She asked and I nodded. " Thank you. Brawdon never plays dolly with me. He is a bad daddy."

I love her sweet little voice.

"Yes he is a bad daddy."

"Go now Chloe and when Sydney and I finish she'll come and play with you alright? " Now it's Brawdon's turn to speak.

"Okay bye Sydney and thank you for playing with me ." She turned and left me alone with Brawdon. He don't know that I will demand and explanation for this right.

"Bye Chloe I 'll see you soon. Brawdon care to explain what just happened."

I waited a few second before he replied.

"Well you see what I am about to tell you is going to stay a secret between us okay?"

When I heard him say that I fought that this was something big.

"I promise." I really want to know why this adorable little girl is calling him daddy and searching for her mommy.

"Okay I have told you that I have a little sister and Chloe is my little sister. The reason she calls me daddy is because she his adopted and she knows that so we don't make her that lonely and 'cause my father travels a lot so she calls me daddy and I really have no idea why she called you mommy but I think she is searching in a way for her real mommy. Thanks for offering playing with her and keeping it a secret. You're welcome."

I am surprised and happy that I offered to play with Chloe. She seems adorable and very cute.

I spend all the afternoon at his place and played with Chloe. We played many game and it was very funny. I loved her. I loved that little girl. And today Brawdon has another idea for us to do. We are going to eat somewhere. I am actually waiting for him. At school Steph and I aren't been bothered by Cynthia anymore I don't know why actually. He came and we went to a restaurant.

"Want do you want to eat?"

"Mm. A hamburger. " I replied. "U?"

"Same."
I know hamburger is his favourite food so it doesn't surprise me that he ordered the same thing.

"Okay why are we in a restaurant? What are we going to do?"

"We are going to do cliché lines. Let me explain it to you. I am going to tell you a cliché line and you are going to tell me a cliché line. After that I am sure that you'll see that those are not cheesy but can be sweet."

"Let's try it then." I want to see what can he make up.

"20 phrase or more ??"

"Let's say 20." What is up with us and with the number 20? 20 questions, 20 phrases ...
