Chap 9 : Lies

Sydney's P.O.V.

-The next day -

Yesterday was pretty good. Brawdon was right. If someone loves you and tells you he can't imagine the world without you and stuff it very beautiful. I remember when I used to be told those phrases and I was very happy that I can be loved like that. Yesterday with Brawdon reminded me of the old time. And I am going to use them in the project.
Note to self: Start working on the project.
You're asking why I just wrote that it's because it's been 2 days and we haven't started doing the project yet. And you now time is precious. It's the nerd part of me that's talking.

After dressing up, having breakfast, and waiting for Stephanie I had an idea. Today I am going to ask Brawdon if he could come to my house to do the project. He handled the 2 previous days it's my turn now. I quickly returned to my house.

"Momm." I yelled. It's okay to yell she is in the second floor.

" What?" She yelled back. I told you it's okay to yell.

" Can I invite a friend from school? "

"Is I Stephanie? "

" No."

"Who is it? "

"First it's a boy. " After saying those words my mother was right in front of me.

" It's a boy! Is he cute? How did you meet? "

" Mom mom. Slow down here. You can be such a teenager sometime. But now. He is coming to work on a project. "

"Yeah a 'project'"

" It's not a 'project' like your implying it's a project an English project. "

" Enn okay then. He can come with you after school. But remember today is Friday. Maybe he has plans. "

" I don't know. But if he hasn't plan I'll teel him to come. Okay mom? "

" Okay honey. See u after school. "

"See u mom. "

Today I decided to walk to school. To refresh my self. It's been long since I last walked. After a long time I finally saw the school. I walked toward my locker directly grabbed my books and headed to talk to Steph.

" Hey Steph. "

"It's nice to remember that you a sister you know." She said sarcastically.

" It's not my fault. I have been busy. "

" Yes busy with Brawdon. "

I quickly blushed a little than covered it quickly by my old face just smiling.

" Any way. Noe w spill the dets. What happened from the beginning till now."

"Fine :
1- we went to his house. Met his mother and sister.
2- we played 20 questions.
3- the next day we went to a restaurant after school.
4- we started to say cheese romantic line
5- I don't think those chees-y line stupid anymore. I remembered why you know ho told me those phrases. And now when I hear them I remember and I think of it as a good memory. I am still sad but less sad now. "

" He is really changing you I am very happy for you. "

" It's not everything."

"Come on spill don't let me wait."

" Today I am going to invite him at my place to work on the project. "

"Yeayyyyy." She started to jump but I quickly stop her. " Oh here he is . Go talk to him."

" Fine"

Brawdon's P.O.V.

I saw Sydney aproching me. After yesterday I saw the old her in her. But I really need to go with the plan. At my house she nearly found out about Chloe but I quickly covered it up.

" Hi I wanted to talk to you."

"Hi Sydney. What do you want to talk about?"

" Have you got any plans today? "

No I have not but I think I don't have to get too attached.

"Yes. I am taking Cynthia out on a date. "

I saw a flash of sadness through her eyes. Oh my god why did I said that.
But after this sadness she quickly recovered it by her casual face. I hate to do it but I am not risking my secret.

" Okay then. I'll see you later. "

"See u Sydney. "

Sydney's P.O.V.

" What did he said?"

"He has plans." I replied sarcastically.
"He is taking Cynthia on a date."

"He is doing what??" She asked surprised.

" He is taking Cynthia to a date." I said again.

"What hit him on the had?"

"I don't really now and I don't want to now. I don't care. It's his life and he can do whatever he wants with his life. I don't care. Bye. "

I am really mad inside. He told me he didn't like her. And now he is taking her out. I don't believe it. I thought he was different. Who am I kidding. All men are the same.

For the first time it's Stephanie 's P.O.V. so enjoy it.

Stephanie ' s P.O.V.

Wow. I never expected this from Brawdon. Poor Sydney is very sad. I don't now what to do. You can call me friend with Cynthia but not that friends with her. It's actually quite complicated.

" Hii Cynthia."

"Hey Stephanie. Wanna go shopping ? After school?"

Wait didn't she has a date with Brawdon.

"Today ?" I asked surprised.

"Yeah today."

"Don't you have plans? "

"No why?" She asked question- ly.

" Nothing. Okay then let's do it than."

Brawdon has some explanation to do. I want to know why he lied to Sydney. She is getting too attached to him. I know it's been like 2 days but she is really getting too attached. For the sake of his balls he better not lie when to Sydney ir even hurt hell. 'Cause I can assure that he'll feel the pain if he hurts her.
