Chap 10 : Explanation

Stephanie's P.O.V.

He lied to her. I don't know why but he lied to her. I have to face her and tell her that he lied to her. I grabbed my phone and dialled Sydney's number.

"Hey Syndey."

"Hii Steph. Why are you calling me did something happened." Oh that girl knows me too well. But that's her alarmed tone so I better rest her mind.

"No nothing that big happened but I really need to talk to you."

"Okay. Where are you?"

"Next to the front door of the school."

"Stay right there, I'm coming right now."

"Okay I'm waiting. Bye."

"Bye."

I have been waiting about 2 minutes before I saw Sydney rushing toward me.

"Hey why did you call me?" How she surely now how to get to the point without waisting any time.

"Yeah about that I have something to tell you but you have to promise me to stay calm okay."

"Now you started to scare me but okay. I'll try to control my anger."

"Okay. Brawdon was lying." I just told her and her face went pale. Like she just saw a gosht.

"What?" She finally stepped out of it.

"Brawdon was lying. Cynthia and I ho shopping. You know about that." She nodded and I continued "well she offered me to go shopping today, and Brawdon told you that he was taking her out today. So how can she invite me to go shopping and still go out on that supposed date."

"So that means he was lying and he wouldn't take her out today. I need to know why was he lying. "

"Wait Sydney where are you going ?"

"At his house, I want to know why one minute his is sweet , caring and funny and the next thing I know is that he is keeping secrets and lying why I want to know why."

Wow she is mad. He hurt my BFF and I will now why. Why he did hurt her. I am going with her. I can't leave her in this situation she is very upset. But he just lied to her. Deep down I know she felt disappointed she was starting to trust him and that is why she felt hurt and disappointed. Can you imagine how in 2 days she started to trust him, and she started to change. For the better but if he is going to lie to her it won't be good anymore.

"Come on to my car. I'll drive you there. I won't leave. "

"Okay."

"Do you still remember where he lives?"

"Yes I do. Come on."

I drove her to his house. She gave the direction and now we are standing in front of his door. I have to say that his house is very very big extremely big.

"You nock go ahead." She told me

"No Sydney. You want to talk to him, not me so you nock on the door."

"Fine." She finally agreed. And nocked on the door.

Sydney's P.O.V.

My heart was beating so fast I felt like it would explode any minutes. I felt very nervous. It's not me but at this moment I felt like my old self. I felt nervous then but nit anymore. I
Just realised that Brawdon's presence was bring the old self in me. On that's what Steph meant by 'maybe he can change you'

Now you figured it out. I wonder how can you get As at school. Stupid inner voice.
I was brought back to reality by Brawdon's mom.

"Hey. Sydney! What are you doing here?"
