"Before we begin with this, I just want to apologise for my brother that bullied you." Darciana said with a small smile.
"It's fine." I waved her off, acting like it doesn't affect me, but both of us know it does.
"So the leads." I said waiting for her to tell me what she has.
"I told the police that you didn't do it." She said suddenly making me freeze in my seat. Darciana is pledging for me?
I have no word as I sat in front of her.
"Oh." I mumble and scratched my brow, getting a weird feeling in my stomach.
"The Bernard's is looking for someone to blame, and you're the only one that's the main suspect, so let's work together or you go to prison for a crime you didn't commit." She said her voice suddenly cold.
"Then let's catch this mother fucker Darciana." I snapped and immediately regret it when she glares at me.
"Don't get an attitude with me, or you'll regret it." Her eyes darken when she looks down at my neck and back to my eyes.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." She sighed about to say something when she looked behind me and her eyes widen and she let's out a gasp.
"What's wro—" Suddenly something came crashing down at the back of my head and I scream in pain of the hot burning coffee that's thrown out on top of my head.
I scrambled out of the booth and ripped my shirt off while panting.
"Fuck." I screamed again, when I touched my chest and shoulders.
"What the fuck Cole!" I heard Darciana scream while I try to get something to soothe the pain.
I spot my glass of water on the table and throw it over my head and whimper at the contact.
That hurt like a bitch.
I looked up and saw Cole standing there with a smug smirk on his face and looked at my burned wounds that's on my chest and shoulders my skin bright red. He looks satisfied with what he has done.
"Are you okay?" Darciana ask and touched my shoulder making me whimper and flinch away from the pain.
"Shit, sorry." She apologised and glared at Cole.
"Are you going to kill her too?" Cole ask as he stare at me with a menacing grin.
"Fuck you!" I spat and picked my coffee soaked shirt from the ground and winced at the movement.
"Cole stay out of this and don't come near us again, you know what I'm capable of." Darciana said with a hard and cold voice, making Cole's grin to disappear.
"Whatever, you're going to regret killing my best friend." With one last glare he walked out of the restaurant making me release sigh.
"Let's get you to a hospital." Darciana said and grabbed her handbag and put a hundred dollar bill on the table and motioned for me to follow her.
This probably looks so awkward for people with me without a shirt only in a sports bra, following a rich elegant dressed woman out of the restaurant.
"It's not necessary but thanks." She suddenly stopped making me almost bump into her.
She turned around and glared at me. "You. Will. Go." She gritted out, making me nod quickly. I make a mental note to not piss het off.
Following her out of the restaurant I see my bike and groaned.
"What about my bike?"
"You can put it in my trunk." I looked at her car and my eyes widen. A black Porsche Cayenne. I can't put my filthy bike in that expensive car.
"Are you sure." I asked sceptically. She groan and gave me a look that tells me 'Don't test me'
I unchained my bike and pushed it to her car. She opened the trunk for me and I put my bike in very carefully to not scratch anything.
"Get in." She orders and climbed into the drivers seat and me in the passenger seat.
The car smells like her, vanilla with a slight spicy smell to it.
"Seat belt." I click my seat belt on, carefully over my chest.
"You do realise I can't pay for this treatment right?" I said and looked at her profile.
"I'll pay don't worry." She replied as she drove.
"Thank you." I feel like a charity case, first she pays for the bill at the restaurant and now my hospital bills.
She parked in the parking lot at the hospital and shut the car off.
"Let's go." She grabbed her handbag and I followed her into the hospital, looking like a child next to her.
"Hi, we need someone to check out her burn wounds." Darciana said to the receptionist lady.
"Oh dear, what happend." She asked as she looked at my shoulders and chest.
"Just an accident." I gave her a weak smile as she nodded.
"Name."
"Koa Barlow." I responded while she typed something on the computer.
"I'll get Dr. Harry for you just wait a moment." She stood up and disappeared behind some door.
After a few awkward silence she came back and typed something on the computer.
"You can go in, it's the door on the left." I thanked her and went to the room seeing a woman with brown hair and blue eyes sitting at a desk.
"Koa Barlow." I nodded and she motioned for me to sit on the bed.
She examined the wounds while Darciana sat in a chair Dr. Harry has in her office.
"Luckily it's not so bad but I'm going to give you an antibiotic ointment that you have to put on every five hours." She said and went to a glass cabinet in the corner of the room and took out a small box and handed it to me.
"Thank you Doc." She nodded with a smile.
"You can pay at the receptionist."
"Thanks." Darciana said already out of the door. I thanked the doctor again and followed Darciana.
After she paid we went back at the car and drove off again.
"Where do you live?" She asked and stopped at a stoplight. I blush in embarrassment from how Darciana going to see my shack of a house.
"In 10 Pine street." She hummed and I ducked my head to hide my embarrassment.
After twenty minutes she stops in front of my house and shut her car off.
"You have my number, I'll text you where we'll meet tomorrow." I nodded and thanked her.
After getting my bike out of her trunk she sped off the road making me sigh.
What a afternoon.
