"What the hell happened?" Darciana asked worriedly when she saw the state that I'm in. I'm in my pyjamas in front of a strip club and my face is red from all the running.

"That man was in my house
Darciana, he fucking got in!" Her eyes widen and she grabbed her phone.

"Do you know what happened to the bodyguards." I shook my head.

"I don't know, I didn't have time to check since I was running for my life." She called someone and I don't know who but I have a good idea who.

"Leon, you better explain to me where the bodyguards are that was supposed to be at the Barlow's house." She said harshly and I feel bad for Leon.

"What do you mean someone called them?" She let out a sigh.

"Well get them back and add five more bodyguards Leon." She ended the call and threw her phone onto her lap.

"What did he say?" I asked and she shook her head angrily.

"Someone called Jason the one that in charge at your house and told them it isn't necessary to guard the house anymore and pretend to be Leon." Shit this is bad.

"Are you okay?" She suddenly grabbed my face and checked for any injuries and looked my body up and down.

"Yes I'm fine, my legs just feel like jello though." I joked and she cracked a small smile.

"That's good." She kissed my lips.

"You're staying at mine tonight." I nodded and agreed.

"I'm just thankful my mom wasn't home or else I was probably dead now."

"Don't say that." She said and hold my hand and squeezed it.

"We probably have to let Detective Tom know that he was in your house." Darciana said and I groaned.

"Tomorrow morning, not now thank you." She let out a chuckle.

"Yeah yeah." I smile and looked out of the car window.

When we got to her house she suddenly grabbed my wrist.

"I have to tell you something." I frowned and motioned for her to tell me.

"My parents might or might not be home." My eyes widen when she said that.

Meeting her parents?

Oh.

Hell.

No.

"Darciana, are you kidding me, their going to call the police when they see me on their property." She gave me an amusing smile.

"No they won't because they already know who you are." I shook my head.

"Yeah they think I'm their youngest son's murder." She let out a sigh and grabbed my face in her hands, her hands are so soft and warm.

"Darling, I told them about us." My mouth dropped open.

"Like we're in a relationship?" She nods and I sighed.

"And they're fine with it?" She smiled warmly at me.

"More than anything, they can't wait to meet you." She replied and kissed my cheek.

"Fine, let's get this over with." She gave me a smile and intertwined out fingers together and walked to the front door.

"They're probably in the living room." She said as she closed the front door behind us.

She lead me to the living room and there sat and older woman and
man.

"Darling, you're back." The woman said and smiled at Darciana.

"Mom, dad, this is Koa I talked about?" Suddenly their eyes was on me and I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"Hi." I squeaked out and waved awkwardly at them.

"Nice to meet you Koa, I'm Laura." Her mother gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead.

"It's nice to meet you Mrs. Ricci." She laughed and waved me off.

"Just call me Laura, darling." I nodded at her with a smile and looked at her dad and who had a glare on his face.

My smile disappeared and I look anxiously at Darciana's dad.

"Dad, don't scare her away." Darciana said to her father and he hummed.

"So you're the girl who my daughter is seeing." He looked me up and down and stood in front of me. He was as an intimidating man and I looked fearfully at him.

When he saw my face a huge smile formed on his face and he laughed.

"I'm just joking kid, give me a hug." He wrapped his big strong arms around me and lifted me from the ground and hugged me

"C-Can't B-breath." I choke out and he put me down and patted my back.

"Sorry kid, I'm a big hugger." I gave him a smile.

"No worries." I breath out.

"I'm Micheal but you can call me
Mike." I smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mike." I said and he looked at Darciana.

"Everything okay?" Darciana nods with a smile. "Everything is fine dad." He nods and grabs his wife's hand.

"Have a good night you two." We said good night to them and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh come on, they're not that intimidating." Darciana said amusingly and I glared playfully at her.

"Not your mom but your dad scared the shit out of me." She let out a laugh.

"Let's go to bed."

What a morning.
