Darciana

I let out a frustrated sigh as I called Koa for the tenth time and still her phone is going straight to voicemail.

I have a bad feeling in my gut that something happened to her.

I dialled my driver's number, Carl,  after a few rings he finally picked up.

"Carl can you tell me if you picked Koa up at school today?" I asked him coldly.

"Ma'am I received a call that said it wasn't necessary to pick her up." He replied and my blood started to boil in anger.

"And who do you think you are to listen to someone else's orders than mine, I'm your boss Carl no one else!" I said harshly to him.

"I'm sorry ma'am." He replied he's voice shaky.

"You will be, but tell me who called you?" I questioned him.

"It was a unknown number ma'am." I let out a frustrated sigh.

"Forward the number to me Carl, now!" I demanded and hung up on him.

That ginger fuck is going to pay for listening to someone else's orders.

After he send me the number I dialled it and it told me the number doesn't exist anymore.

"FUCK!" I scream and slammed my hands against the steering wheel.

I started my car and drove to Koa's house, maybe she walked home and got there safely and her phone is just dead, right?

I parked in front of her house and jumped out of the car and speed walk to the front door and knocked hard.

After a few seconds the door opened and I was hoping it was Koa, but it wasn't it was her mother.

"Darciana, what's wrong?" She asked when she saw my panicked expression.

"Diana, is Koa home?" I asked and she frowned.

"No, I thought she was with you, why is something wrong?" She asked her worriedly.

"I think Koa is kidnapped." She let out a gasp and shook her head.

"No, it can't be." Her face paled and I took a deep breath.

"Don't worry I'll handle it, we'll get her back." I tried to reassure her but I don't think it's helping.

"But I have to go now, call me immediately if she maybe shows up." She nods and gave me a tight hug.

"Bring my baby back home." She whispered and I hugged her back.

"I will." I nod and she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I ran back to my car and dialled Amy's number. Maybe she knows where Koa can be.

"Hello?" She answered dryly.

"Amy, do you know where Koa is?" I asked and I heard her let out a gasp.

"Darciana?" She asked and I let out a sigh.

"Yes Amy, this is Darciana, now can you please answer me." I ordered her.

"I'm sorry Darciana but the last time I saw her was at school and that was five hours ago." She said apologetically and I let out a sigh.

"Thanks Amy, let me know if you hear from her."

"Of course, maybe she's at the hospital visiting her dad." She said softly and I cursed myself mentally, of course, maybe she's there.

"Thanks Amy, I'll let you know if she's there." After saying my goodbyes to her I drove to the hospital and parked the car and climbed out and locked my car and made a beeline to the entrance of the hospital.

I came to the receptionist and saw she was on the phone. She held a finger up for me to wait and I rolled my eyes.

After waiting for a few seconds she hung up the phone and gave me a smile.

"Hi, how can I help you with?" She asked politely.

"I need to know if a Koa Barlow checked in today with her dad." I asked and she typed something in the computer.

"Just give me a second, let me check." She was busy for a few minutes and then she shook her head with a little frown.

"I'm sorry, but no Koa Barlow checked in today." She said and my heart sank to the floor.

"Thank you." I muttered and walked back to my car.

Where are you Koa?

I made my way to the police station and stormed into the building.

"Where's Detective Tom, I need to talk to him urgently!" I said to the same woman from last time.

Her bored expression disappeared on her face when she saw my expression and she quickly stood up.

"I'll get him for you." She quickly disappeared to the back and came back not even a minute later.

"He's waiting for you." I thanked her and speed walk to the interrogation room and stormed into the room.

"I think Koa has been kidnapped." Detective Tom's eyes widen and he immediately stood up.

"Are you sure." I nodded and he cursed under his breath.

"Tell me exactly what happened." He took his notepad out and let out a breath before I started to explain to him.
