"....Yes" I reply. Lucas looks at me with wonder. "Then it's settled," he said. He walked away, took Riley by the hand, and left. I went home alone on the subway, and as I lay in bed, I thought of how I could win over Riley. There had to be a way. The next morning, I woke up, and ran over to Riley's place. I knocked on the bay window, and let myself in. "Maya?" I heard Riley ask. "No, Farkle" I answered. She walked into her bedroom, beautiful as ever. "Wanna go out today?" I proposed. "Sure!" She replied. We walked out from the fire escape, and headed through the city. We went to the movies, bakeries, shopping, and walked around the mall. As we were at the mall, Lucas snuck up on Riley, and they embraced. Remembering the bet, I felt a wave of jealousy pass. I tug Riley's hand, and we keep walking. We finally left the mall, and I walked her home. "Bye Riles, see you soon." she waved, and I left. The same fluttering feeling remained in my stomach, the feeling I felt every time I saw Riley. I better win that bet.
