My best friend's bird, pregnant?! I couldn't be more surprised. After the other guys left, I started investigating with Topanga. "Is Lucas going to help you with the baby, or is he leaving you?" I ask. "We broke up today," Riley answered, still crying her eyes out. "Do you want to keep the baby, or have an abortion?" Topanga says. "Since I'm going to Stanford, it's going to be hard to keep the baby, but I don't want to kill an innocent child. At least at Stanford, they have a work/study program for incidents like this," Riley replies. "I can't believe my little plant will have a tiny plant in 9 months!" Maya exclaims. I feel bad for Maya, it would be hard to help your best friend through a pregnancy if you live halfway across the country from her. Topanga and I leave Riley and Maya, then I go back home. Once I'm home, I tell Katy the news. "No, please tell me it's a joke Shawn. Riley? As in Riley Matthews, my daughter's best friend? Oh no, I hope she doesn't end up like me! That girl will at least get a proper education, though." Katy sighs, and heads I bed. I follow, and as we fall asleep, I think of Riley with worry.
