Chapter 22

Farkle Pov
Today, Riley and Lucas are going to find out what gender their baby is. Riley and Lucas won't actually find out, because they want it to be a surprise. But the rest of us want to know, which is why Maya and I are going with them. The doctor will hand us the envelope, then we both (along with the rest of Riley's family and friends) will plan what to buy for the baby. The nursery will be neutral, as Riley and Lucas want more kids, but don't want to have to paint it multiple times, given they may not get the same gender every time. Riley is getting pretty big, especially since she's only 5 months along. "Riley, stop bouncing, the baby will be annoyed and kick you!" Maya exclaimed. "I can't! I want to know but I don't want to know, and I hope the baby is healthy, and that the baby isn't backwards! What if the baby is dead and we don't know it? What if she/he is disabled? How can we pay for tht? What if she does right when we go in for the ultrasound? Or what if-"
"Riles, calm down! Everything will be alright! The baby will be healthy, we will have a happy child, and get married, alright?" Lucas some how calms down Riley. "Riley Matthews?" A chubby nurse calls. "Peaches, will I be ok?" "Of course, let's go." Maya reassures Riley. The four of us walk in, and meet the doctor. "Hey there Riley, how are you doing?" "Fine, hungry a lot." "Definitely hungry, all the time." Lucas confirms. We all laugh. "Take a seat you two," the doctor gestures at Maya and I. "I presume you are Maya and....Farkle? Is that a spelling error?" "No ma'am, my name is Farkle Minkus." "Oh," the doctor replied. Riley lay down on the bed, and lifted her shirt. The doctor squeezed the gel onto her stomach. "So, Riley, you are unusually large for only 5 months, perhaps it's because you're so skinny that the baby has much more impact on you." She lifted the device, and we saw two babies. WAIT WHAT? "Aww, look, your baby has a playmate Riles!" Maya coos, then registers what she's seeing. "RILEY YOU'RE HAVING TWINS!" Lucas exclaimed. Then everything went black for me.

5 Minutes later........
"Wha-what happened?" I ask, sitting up. "Farkle, you fainted after Riley realized she's having twins." Lucas explained. "Well, Farkle, Maya, here are the genders of the babies." We all left the clinic, and went home to tell everybody. Riley and Lucas went out to dinner, so that we could tell everyone and they wouldn't overhear. We buzz in as usual, and Josh anxiously lets us up. "So, what is it?" Topanga asks. "Well, they-"
"THEY? SHE'S HAVING TWINS?? OH MY RILEY BEAR IS HAVING TWINS!" Mr. Matthews screams. "TWO MORE LITTLE LITTLE PANGER NICHES!" Eric exclaims, as he waves his lollipop in the air. Her grandparents jump up and down in excitement, and Maya uses this as an excuse to kiss Josh. Everything is better now.
