Farkle Pov
"-in a coma," Maya said, bursting into tears. Mr. and Mrs. Friar rush into the room, as Maya and I let them know. "Lucas, did they tell you about Riley?" Mr. Friar asked. Lucas nodded, a single year slipping down his face. "She may or not wake up, it's going to take some time, though, if she does," Mrs. Friar explains. Lucas remains calm, surprisingly. The doctor walks in, and sees Lucas awake. "Well Lucas, you are very lucky, most people don't get a second chance in life. We have news about your child, Mathew. He will be ok, and you and him are free to go home in a couple of days. He may have some discomfort occasionally, but he'll have to live with it. Luckily he hasn't damaged his spine, so he'll be able to walk." "Thank you sir, for helping my child and I," Lucas thanks the doctor. "It's what I'm here for, call me Dr. Kingston," he replies. Maya's eyes widen. "You mean, like Dr. Kingston on Pretty Little Liars?!" she shrieks. He laughs, and nods, "I get that a lot, I'm his cousin, his mother's sister's surname is Kingston. A coincidence, in fact," he answers. Maya stares at him in awe. He leaves the room, along with the Friar's, who went for coffee. Maya and I talked about Dr. Kingston, and his similarities to Wren on PLL. But when we turned to Lucas, he was a wreck. His eyes were bloodshot, his face blank. "Is she going to be ok? I need her to be ok. She was supposed to be my wife, I was suppose to be the last one to kiss her, to be the last man she loved. What if she dies? I'll never be her husband. I'll need be able to take care of our children with her, taking road trips and driving them to baseball practice," he practically yells. I can feel my eyes getting glassy, and I see Maya balling. We all sit in silence, we don't know what to say. We know nothing we say will change the fact that she's in a coma. Lucas looks up, and croakily says,
"I'm ready to see her."
Now you know what happened! No deaths..yet😉 wait and see!

Ok just adding this part right now, 4 FREAKING THOUSAND PEOPLE HAVE READ THIS FANFICTION!! I realize most ppl don't read a/n's but if you do, just know I'm forever grateful! I didn't realize this fanfic would be so successful, I've read fanfics for 3 years and never thought I would ever write one. Just like Maya, people change people.
