Percy took slow steps, using his sword for a small bit of light.

Nothing.

There was nothing there. It was an empty warehouse. The only sound he could hear was the sound of his footsteps echoing through the empty space.

There were some tall shelves with boxes scattered on top of them and around the whole place. Did he imagine this voice? The banging sound? Surely he didn't start hearing things. Right?

Percy's head suddenly got a sharp pain, like stinging. "Ow. What the hell?" He muttered, putting his palm to his head. "Ughhh-" A voice groaned. It sounded like they were in pain. Percy frantically waved around his sword, running around as he did so. He had to find whoever made that sound. "Hello?! If somebody's there, please make a sound again!" There was silence for a moment. Percy stood still. "Of cours-" Percy was cut off by a cough. A few more coughs had followed the first, then a box fell over.

As he ran toward the sound, his head stung again. "Owww." He muttered, taking a second to breathe. Once Percy felt less stinging, he started running toward the box again. Finally, he sees the source of the noise. "You- You're the missing girl!"  Percy said, internally freaking out. "The what?" She asked. Before Percy could say anything, the stinging started again. He fell onto his knees, his hands covering his ears. "Are you okay?"  The girl asked, coughing immediately after. Percy couldn't hear her voice, only a muffle. Suddenly, Percy felt another pair of hands on his head. He opened his eyes and looked up at the girl in front of him. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and tightened her grip on his head.

What is happening?  Percy thought to himself.

His head was still stinging, but now it also felt like it was in-between compressors. After a minute, the girl looked frustrated. Her eyebrows furrowed, her eyes squeezing down tighter. His head felt like it might explode. Percy stared at her, but quickly looked down when she opened her eyes and took her hands off his head. "Is that better?"  She questioned the tomato in front of her. Percy nodded. His head actually felt a lot better. But how? She was just a normal girl from his school. Wasn't she? As usual, Percy's head spiraled into confused thoughts.

"Who are you?"

"The daughter of Hades."

(That's the last part! I didn't end up writing the reason why she was there, but she basically was chased by monsters since she wasn't at camp. She obviously knows she is a demi-god, so they know too.)
