He's gone. (A.R.)

Adam Reed was always a kid that got on people's nerves. Always. It was impossible for him not to give sass or attitude. Naturally, people got sick of it, causing him to be bullied. Y/n was the opposite of Adam. She always stuck to her quiet desk during class and during lunch she'd read at the corner table of the cafeteria. She had a few friends, but she still preferred sitting alone. You'd think people like her were less likely to get bullied, right? Well, she thought that too. Until Ray and Chuck stepped into her life to make everyday hell. See, Adam and Y/n both had one thing in common. They both could agree that Chuck was a coward and Ray was a dam loser.

Y/n and Adam had never met. Sure, they went to the same school, were in the same class, got bullied by the same 2 boys, and they heard of each other, but they never really talked. They both went to the school for a while, so you'd think they would have met by now.

"Now, does anyone remember the formula to get the diameter of a circle out of the radius?" Mr. Collins asked. Ray raised his hand. Oh boy.. Y/n thought, already getting second hand embarrassment. She lowered her head into her arms, making it look as though she was sleeping in class. "Yes Ray?" Mr. Collins said, waiting for Ray to answer the previous question. "The formula would be "C = Pi r". " He said with confidence. Mr. Collins lightly shook his head before saying, "I'm sorry, but that is incorrect. Does anybody else know the answer?" Nobody else raised their hand. Y/n knew the answer. She wondered how nobody else knew the answer. Maybe they did. Maybe they were too nervous like her. Maybe they thought that Ray would assume they were trying to show off and make him look dumb.

Y/n thought about it, making Ray so mad, getting revenge. Eventually she raised her hand, not daring to raise her head though. "Ah, Miss. Y/n. Go ahead." Mr. Collins put out his hand, gesturing to the side as if to say, "you have the floor". Y/n slightly tilted her head up, enough to have the others hear her voice. She coughed to get her voice ready. "Well sir, I think the right formula to get the diameter would be "C = 2 Pi r". The radius in this case is 5 cm so you would do "2 x 3.14 x 5". That's how you'd get the answer." When she finished, the class stayed completely silent, staring at her. She lowered her head once again to avoid the gaze of the students.

"I believe that would be correct. Well done
Y/n!" Mr. Collins said as the lunch bell went. The students all gathered whatever they would be taking to the cafeteria, whether it was a phone, laptop, book, sketchbook, it didn't matter. Y/n was on her way to the girls bathroom to wash her hands before eating when she was shoved into a wall. "Hey-" She started before realizing who she had been shoved by. "Do you think you're better than me or something? Huh? Little bi-" Y/n slapped him. Who the hell was he to call her a b***h? "What the hell?!" Ray grabbed her by the arm and pushed her down the staircase. Y/n held her head in her hands, trying to shield it from getting crushed. Chuck stayed on the lookout, making sure no teachers came near.

Y/n had bruises, scratches, and a bloody nose. Ray walked down the stairs and started kicking her in the stomach. This went on for about 5 minutes before Chuck wimped out. Right after he left, a tiny boy with blonde hair entered the winding staircase. Y/n was still holding her head with one hand, her stomach with the other. She whimpered and groaned in pain. Her lip was bleeding from her biting it, trying to stop herself from screaming. She had no idea how long this pain would last or how much more kicks he would do. "Oh, the other loser came to save his little girlfri-" Ray cut himself off, groaning in pain. He looked up from his new spot on the ground to find none other than Adam Reed. Ray had a bloody nose and some more blood trickling down his chin from his mouth. Adam now had a bloody fist. Ray stood up, crying. He quickly ran away to clean his blood up. Adam looked down at the crying girl in the corner. She still held her stomach and her head.

"Hey, it's over now. They're gone. He's gone."
