Percy and Y/n arrived at Camp the next morning. They hadn't travelled too far on their trip to find Poseidon's Trident. It was literally at Percy's apartment. Who knows why.
Anyways, they were back! Y/n's hands were covered in dry blood which was not very ideal. The two entered the Big House, where Chiron was reading a book about WW2. Chiron seemed to always be fascinated by human historical events. Probably because he knew that they were caused in different ways. Chiron heard their footsteps and looked up from his book. "Oh, you two are back already. I'm glad you aren't hurt." Chiron smiled as he put in a bookmark. He placed the book on the table, slowly stepping into the door frame to the long deck. "Annabeth, Percy and Y/n have arrived." He shouted. Y/n poked her head out, quickly seeing a sprinting figure in the distance. It looked like a girl, and of course, it was. "Y/n!" She gasped, out of air. Annabeth quickly hugged her best friend. "So I don't get a hi anymore?" Percy asked. The girls just rolled their eyes. Chiron trotted away, going to check on the cabins. Annabeth noticed Chiron's disappearance. "I gotta go guys. I have to practice my archery skills. It's good to have you back Y/n!" Y/n waved goodbye to her friend. "So I just don't exist now?" Percy complained. "I wish." Y/n responded. His jaw dropped at her words.
They argued for around 7 minutes and 32 seconds before Percy remembered her hands. "Y/n.. Let's go to the infirmary room." He told her. He almost grabbed her hand, but stopped himself before he could. It would probably hurt the already bloodied and bruised hands. Instead, he pulled her along by the arm. Eventually, they got to the infirmary room. Y/n sat on the bed, waiting impatiently for Percy to find the bandages and gauze. She started fidgeting with her fingers, then started swaying her legs back and forth, in circles, and then from side to side. "How much longer do I have to wait Percy?" Percy sighed at her question. "I'm sorry, Y/n. Just a little longer." Now it was Y/n's turn to sigh. Finally, after waiting a few more minutes, he found some bandages. He went over to Y/n, staring at her bloody hands. Slowly and gently, he started cleaning the blood off of her hands with soaked paper towels. She winced a few times and mumbled the word 'ow' a lot. "Okay. That part is done now, don't worry. Try not to move your body for this part. Just relax." Percy said. Y/n dropped her shoulders into a more relaxed state. She closed her eyes. "I'll try not to make it too tight." He told the girl. "Good." She replied. Very carefully, Percy started wrapping the bandage around her left hand. Her hand started looking like she had been put into a cast. Once he finished that hand, he moved onto the next hand.
"And.. done!" Percy said. "Finally." Y/n added after him. It took a moment for Y/n to adjust to the feeling of the bandages. They made her hands look and feel puffy. She started squeezing her hands shut at the same time, then opened them up. She repeated this process many times. "Well, looks like I'm not stupid." Percy joked, although the joke wasn't funny. "Thanks Percy." Y/n mumbled, not enjoying being kind to him. "Wait. Did you just say-" "Shut up! I don't need your help." "But you just-" Y/n tapped Percy on the head, catching him off guard. "Tag." She shouted as she ran away. "Hey, no fair!" He screamed after the already far away girl.
