I once sharp and bright, now lost in a haze,
What caused this shift, these bewildering days?
Dreams once lofty, reaching for the sky,
Now distant and dim, I can't fathom why.
Where did I stumble, where did I fall short,
In a sea of efforts, why do I resort?
Longing for yesteryears, when all felt light,
Confidence unshaken, not a cloud in sight.
But I won't succumb, won't let hope fade away,
I'll navigate this darkness, find my own way.
