She stands there, unnoticed, like a shadow on the wall,
No one sees her, not one at all.
Tears on her face, like rain in spring,
Hoping for a touch, a word, anything. She wants to speak, to share her heart's cry,
But fear holds her back, keeps her shy.
She just wants to belong, to feel the flame,
Thinking she's not enough, not worth the game.Doubt weighs her down, like a heavy load,
Dreaming of escape, from the dark road.
She wishes to be someone else, somewhere new,
But inside, she's true, her spirit, pure and true. She watches others, laughing, having fun,
Wishing she could join, be part of the sun.
Lost in the crowd, she prays for a ray,
In the shadows, she stays, hoping for a day.She quietly leaves, no one sees her go,
Tears lead her home, her heart feeling low.
But in her silence, a spark starts to rise,
One day, someone will see her, hear her cries.★
