Like fleeting shadows in the night
People come and go, out of sight
Some will bring you warmth and light
While others bring a haunting blight
Those who wear a lion's guise
May pounce upon your hopes and prize
And those who wear a witch's cloak
May cast a spell of fear and choke
But don't let their tricks deceive
Or let their claws make you grieve
For in your soul, you hold the key
To break the chains and be set free
For though some may cause you harm
There are those who'll bring a charm
So cherish those who stay sincere
And banish the sham, without fear.
