Marshall couldn't even believe what had just happened. Someone whom he had been friends with for years just abused him all because he had liked a girl that Marshall had loved for years. He was scared, he didn't know how he could stand up to Rocky.

Marshall hadn't slept all night, he was too busy sobbing and thinking about Everest and Rocky being together, getting married, and having pups together. Having pups with Everest was the ultimate goal for the Dally. That's the only thing he wanted in the entire world. Every time he found a lucky penny, when the clock hit 11:11, or when a full moon appeared he wished to have the only thing he wanted in his life, to marry Everest and have pups with her.

Unfortunately for him that was almost near impossible now. He had to admit Rocky was a good-looking pup, and he wasn't clumsy. Marshall knew that Everest and Rocky would make a good couple.

  *Knock Knock* "Hey Marshall you in there bud." Marshall heard a voice and walked up to the door to see who it was.

"Oh, hey Chase what's up"

"Ummm dude are you okay," Chase asked as he saw Marshall as he saw his face. Drenched from his tears, his eyes were red from the sobbing, ears and his tail were down, Marshall had never been so down before and Chase was worried sick for him. 

"N-N-No.." Marshall barely said as the sobbing came back to him. Immediately Chase wraps his arms around him in an embrace.

"Dude what's the matter, what's wrong"

"R-Rocky, He knew I was eavesdropping on him and Everest, and then tonight he came into my pup house and was just abusing me"

"Oh Ok then," Chase says furiously as he storms out of Marshall's pup house and walks towards a Green house.

"Rocky wake up," he said as he kept knocking on the door waiting for him to reply. After a few seconds, a very exhausted and tired Rocky appeared out of his pup house. Rocky's eyes had been blurry but he could easily tell that Chase didn't have a good expression on his face. 

"U-Uh Chase what are you doing, it's like 2 in the morning."

"So what happened yesterday with you and Everest"

"We hung out and had dinner why?" Rocky said confused about the question.

"Was it like a date?"

"No not really but it felt like one to me, especially since it was with that beautiful Husky over there," Rocky said as he pointed to Everest sleeping while he was in a daydream.

"So...do you know what happened last night...before we all went to sleep?" Chase said with a stern look on his face"

"I hugged her and went to sleep, and what's with the questions, and did you have to do it this late why didn't you do it in the morning."

"Hmm, can I ask you a question this time?"

"Uhh sure but for the love of dog treats can you make it quick I'm trying to sleep."

"What did I do to make you lie to me?"

"Wait what," Rocky said a little scared that Chase knew he was lying to him. It would feel weird if he came clean now so he just had to play along and keep lying and hopefully Chase would take the bait.

"DO YOU THINK I'M STUPID ROCKY" Chase whispery screams at him trying not to wake anyone up.

"Now hold on Chase why would I lie to our leader huh."

"That's a good question, Rocky, why would you lie to me"

"Because I'm not and I'm telling the truth" Rocky just before he saw Marshall out of the corner of his eye."What the hell do you want Marshall."

"Hey don't talk to him like that," Chase said up in Rocky's face."So tell me the truth, what happened last night?"

"Let me put it this way, I taught Marshall to not get in the way of me and Everest or else I would teach him a lesson. Isn't that right Marshall," Rocky said while he smirked at Marshall. The Dally only looked at him in horror.

"Y-Yeah but-" Marshall said before Chase cut off him.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS, ROCKY, EVEREST ISN'T EVEN YOURS AND HOPEFULLY ONCE SHE FINDS OUT WHAT YOU DID TO MARSHALL MAYBE YOU'LL NEVER GET A CHANCE TO ACTUALLY BE WITH HER."

Chase looked at Rocky as Rocky backed away from him and the Dally.

"Hey guys umm what's uh...what's going on?" as all three of the boys turned around they saw Everest walking up to them after Chase woke her up by yelling.

"Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing" Chase turned around to see another pair of pups walking up to them it was none other than Zuma and Skye.

"O-Oh it's nothing guys You all should just probably head back to sleep."

"Dude Chase I heard you yell from across the lookout something is wrong," Zuma said in confusion. Chase looked at him in annoyance because he was after the girl Chase had wanted to be with ever since he was a little pup.

"Zuma just go, we don't need more people in the drama."

Zuma felt offended by this since he just wanted to make sure that everyone was okay. All of a sudden Chase who was supposed to be the leader just shut down Zuma and the Lab was not going to let that go over his head."

"Dude Chase all I wanted to know is if everyone was okay there was no need for that at all."

"Just go you shouldn't be involved in this"

"Chase what's wrong he only wants to know if everyone is okay why are you being so mean to me." Skye speaks up and says."Why are you even acting like this in the first place?"

"I-It's nothing," Chase said trying not to upset Skye.

"Okay, so can someone tell me what the hell is going on please?" Everest finally said wanting to get to the point. Chase glanced at Rocky and spoke up.

"Hmm I don't know Rocky, care to explain what is going on"

"Me you're the one who is making a big scene and waking up everyone."

"Maybe if you told them the reason then they'll understand."

All of a sudden it got quiet since Rocky didn't want everyone to know what he did to Marshall that night. So he just kept quiet until Marshall spoke up. Except he wasn't just speaking up he was dead serious.

"ROCKY TELL THEM, TELL THEM HOW YOU CAME INTO MY PUPHOUSE LAST NIGHT AND AFTER EVEREST LEFT YOU PUNCHED ME IN THE FACE AND TOLD ME TO STOP TALKING TO EVEREST OR ELSE YOU WOULD DO SOMETHING TO ME, AND BY THE SOUND OF IT, IT SOUNDED LIKE YOU WANTED TO BEAT ME UP HUH ROCKY."

It went silent... very silent. Marshall realized what he had done and ran to his pup house and the second he got in there he locked his door and started to regret ever yelling like that to everyone.

Back where the others were they were also confused as to why Marshall started to yell but quickly let that go and exchanged glances at Rocky.

"Seriously Rocky you did that to poor Marshall what did he ever do to you?" Skye said as the rest just looked at Rocky in disgust.

"I'm going to talk to Marshall, and Rocky you better not think about touching him." Everest Said with seriousness in her eyes.

"Go Everest, I'll Make sure Rocky doesn't hurt Marshall"

"Thanks Chase," Everest said before she left to go find Marshall. As she left to find Marshall she couldn't believe what Rocky said and did all those things to Marshall. All because Rocky liked her and possibly Marshall did as well. As she kept running she had one thing running on her mind.

"Does Marshall like me?"
