C18-Start to Finish

It had finally happened, both Chase and Marshall were with the crushes of their dreams. With a roller coaster of emotions with fights, arguments, and heartbreak. However, both Marshall and Chase finally got what they wanted.

Their future.

"Wake up Marshall it's almost ten o'clock dude," Chase said as he saw Marshall slowly open his eyes and had a smile on his face while he stretched and yawned.

"Hey Chase, sorry I overslept. I just had a good day yesterday and boy I was...exhausted," Marshall told him remembering every little detail of asking out Everest and finally making her his girlfriend.

How could he forget the night, it was a core memory and one that he would never forget about. Chase could relate to him as well, after confessing to Skye...he too could never forget about yesterday and always had a smile on his face uncontrollably.

"Yeah I know, I still can't believe that after everything negative that's happened, we found a way to overcome those obstacles," Chase smiled as he remembered when Zuma and Rocky both had manipulated their crushes to get close to them. 

"But hey we did it and that's all that matters."

"Of course, because we were there for each other and had each other's backs."

Both of the pups continued to have their conversation while they were headed over to eat their breakfast when two familiar pups approached them. It was the pups they were just talking about a minute ago.

"Hey Rocky, hey Zuma what brings you guys here?" The dally said.

"We just um... look I know we said it a lot but there are not enough words that can describe how truly sorry we are and I know you guys might just say 'Oh we know and we know you're sorry and we forgive you' but it still hurts us," Rocky explained and he and Zuma both had tears foaming in their eyes.

"Yeah dude, the guilt we keep feeling for everything we've done to you guys is through the roof. We're still not sure how you guys can forgive us but we just want to say no more time with all four of us here...we're sorry for everything," Zuma finished.

Both Marshall and Chase looked at each other in fusion and nodded at each other, they both glanced at the two pups standing in front of them and embraced them for a four-pup hug. Rocky and Zuma needed it, they needed this exact hug to know that Chase and Marshall were truly sorry for the mayhem that they caused them.

The hug lasted for a good minute but felt like an eternity for the four pups, this was the moment that they needed to share. The Paw Patrol was a family and there was no need for each other to get on each other's hate side.

"Thank you guys so much we really needed that, thank you," The mixed breed spoke up.

"Yeah... me and Rocky are going to head off and hang out for the day but thank you guys and congratulations," Zuma said as he and Rocky ran off to enjoy their day.

"You know...I'm glad they know how much they messed up and hopefully, now they won't try to do anything dumb like that anymore," Marshall spoke up as Chase nodded in agreeance.

"Yeah, I think they know now that you'll never get what you want if you have to cheat to get it," Chase told the Dalmatian. "Hey we should go talk to Ryder, I want to tell him something and you should come with me."

"Yeah, but just a quick question where's Skye I haven't seen her all day and I thought by now she'd be by you?"

"She's at Jake's Mountain with Everest, just for a playdate. I think she said that she might sleep over there to talk about us two."

Marshall chuckled at the thought of the girls staying up all night just talking about him and Chase all night. "Girls will be girls, even if we love them."

"True that brother, alright let's go find Ryder,"

It didn't take long until they found the team leading on top of the lookout playing games on his pup pad. When Ryder spotted two of his pups he put his pup pad down and gave them both a welcoming smile.

"hey pups what brings you guys here, is about your now girlfriends," He asked.

"Yes but no...look we just wanted to say thank you for giving us the advice that we needed. If I'm being honest that was probably the best thing you could have said in that moment Ryder," The Sheperd told the leader.

"Yeah, we took that advice, and look where we are now, we finally have the pups of our dreams and fantasizing about them for so long. Now we can finally call them our girlfriends," Marshall added.

"Well I'm so happy to hear that I could help you guys, it means a lot to me that I can help my own pups and that you guys come to me whenever you are in trouble," Ryder told the two.

Ryder was genuinely happy that the two pups finally had their moment with their crushes. He was all too familiar with the struggle of confessing to someone, or the struggles of having a crush on trying to play it cool when they were around.

"You guys know that I'm always here for you and that you can always talk to me...right," The bot told them.

"Of course Ryder we know that and we'll talk to you no matter what," Chase told him while he and Marshall licked his face until it was soaking wet.

Marshall and Chase shared a moment with each other looking at the sky and finally taking it in that they had girlfriends now and it was the ones they wanted for years.

"You know Marshall, we can finally say that we did it. It may have taken some fighting and arguing but we did it and we should be proud of ourselves," Chase said to the dally.

"You're right Chase despite the struggles we made it over the hump,"

"But still, it could get harder from here...this is just the start... don't forget,"

"Love is complicated, but if we're together, we'll make it through."

A/N

AHHHHH I did it, I made my first story.

I just want to say a couple of things before I get started on my next book which spoiler alert will be a high school theme but might not be Paw Patrol.

1. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR ALL THE COMMENTS, VOTES, AND READS. When I first started this book back in March I think, I never in a million years would I get even 500 views. but now I'm on the cusp of getting 2k. Like what??!?!?!?! This truly makes me so happy that so many people cared about my book despite it not having the best start honestly I didn't think it was that good but maybe I'm wrong.

2. Please give me feedback on how this book was and let me know if there are things I need to change in my upcoming books. For example, let me know if my grammar has problems, or if there or too many commas and just stuff like that.

3. Sorry this chapter was short I just didn't have an idea but also didn't want to just end the book with the last chapter either. It just didn't feel right.

4. Last thing then I'm done ranting. I'm not sure when I'm gonna make my next book but I plan to either make it at the beginning of August or in the middle of August since that's when most Schools start and I want to start my book when School starts.
