The day was shining brighter and brighter as the day moved from morning to noon. Most of the pups were playing a game of soccer since there wasn't much to do that day. However, today was a big day for Marshall because today was the last day that Everest was staying over so he had a plan.

He wanted to spend as much time with Everest as he possibly could. Of course, he couldn't spend too much time since it was only just one day but he still wanted to make the most of it. There was no denying that he was still scared to talk to her but he had to brush that aside and try.

"So Everest today's your last day here with us huh?" Marshall said with a little bit of sadness in his voice hoping that she got the idea that he was sad she had to leave.

"Yeah, but honestly I'm not sure I want to go back just yet. I mean don't get me wrong I love Jake but I also love to be here and spend time with you guys." Everest said while giving a grin at Marshall. This made him blush as he began to get nervous and asked the question he wanted to ask her all day.

"Yeah I get that, so uh Everest so umm...w-would you like to s-spend some time with me l-like a hang o-out."

"Of course, Marshall," Everest said while wagging her tail and giving a big smile to Marshall.

"W-Wow that was uh quick"

"Well, why wouldn't I want to spend time with you Marshall."

"Cause I might mess something up with my clumsiness and ruin our time together."

"Marshall I promise you when I say this, your clumsiness is my absolute favorite thing about you. It makes you...you and that's why I love you being clumsy. You don't try to be funny you just naturally are."

Marshall's cheeks couldn't resist it anymore as they became as red as his helmet and his tail was a blur. He couldn't be happier that Everest got to spend time with him and that she felt the way she did about his clumsiness. He always has anxiety that the pups are getting annoyed with him because of him always tripping into things and constantly messing up.

"Alright let's go, Marshall," Everest said as she and Marshall left for their day together. First, they went to Mr. Porters just like Skye and Chase did yesterday.

As they were walking over to the cafe the Dally remembered when Everest came to his pup house the night when Marshall told everyone that Rocky abused him.

The clock ticked as Marshall couldn't believe he just ranted out to Rocky in front of everyone. Even Marshall himself never thought that he had that inside of him. He hoped that he would never have to do that again.

*Knock Knock*

"Hey, Marshall it's me Everest I just wanted to know if I could talk to you."

"Hey Everest, I-Uh Just wanted to apologize for yelling at Rocky. I didn't know that I could do something like that so sorry if  I scared you or if that made you feel like I'm a bad person."

"Well, I definitely don't think you're the bad person If Rocky really did all those things to you. I can't even imagine why he would want to do that to you. I mean you're the nicest person in the world and I can't believe he would do such a thing."

"Yeah, I still can't believe he did that as well. I thought he was my best friend but...I guess not."

"I wonder what made him do that to you," as Everest finished Marshall knew the exact reason but didn't say anything for some reason.

"Hey, Marshall can I ask you something, before you say anything I want you to be completely honest with me."

"Sure Everest, what's up"
