Her heart is more shrapnel than anything,
Got lead running through her veins,
And wires in her brain,
Her eyes spark and whir,
Joints are stiff and rusted,
Skin as cold and lifeless as iron,
Wonder what keeps her running,
Is it spite or is she battery powered,
Who is this invincible machine?
More circuit board than flesh,
Are her thoughts her own or they programmed in,
Could she have a personality chip,
If you kissed her lips,
Would you get heavy metal poisoning,
If she heard a paradox,
Would her head explode?
Molten metal once covered her bones,
Now it's gone cold,
The screws in her skull;
The only thing keeping her head on straight,
Gears and circuits,
Nuts and bolts,
She's powered by 10,000 volts,
But how much longer can she go on,
Before her battery runs out,
And she's lifeless yet again.
