"Can i please talk to you?" Calum asks, and i sigh, looking up at him, i see his red, swollen eyes.. and an expression of hurt on his face.
"There's nothing to talk about, Calum." I say, and turn around, but Calum won't let me. "Please Lily.. you don't have to say anything, just hear me out." Calum says, and i nod.
"Do you want to talk here, or do you want to go to a caf-" "just talk Calum." I cut him off, and he nods.
"I was drunk Lily, and i know that i can't use that as an excuse, but when i drink too much, i just can't control myself." He tells me, and i sigh. "If you know that you can't control yourself when you drink, then why do you keep drinking?" I ask, and Calum nods. "You have a point there.. i don't know why i still drink." Calum sighs.
"Calum, listen.. i told you that i was scared.. and i trusted you. I thought you liked me, amd wanted to take it slow.. was it too slow? If you don't want this, then i'm fine with that, wait, no i'm not.. i'm not fine with it.. but i want you to be happy.. and if you're happy with living like this, then i'll accept and respect your choices." I say, and walk away from him. "Where are you going Lily?" He asks.
"To my room.. i need time to think." I say, and leave him alone there.
"Here's your breakfast, but it's probably cold and dirty because it's been in that bag for awhile because Calum was holding me up." I say, and give Mali her breakfast.
"Calum? Did you talk with him?" Mali asks, and i nod. "I did. He told me that he can't control himself when he had alcohol.. but i said, that if he wanted to live like that, i'll respect it." I said, and took a bite from my sandwich. Mali nodded, and took a sip from her now cold coffee. "Yuk, this is horrible." She laughed. "Mali, i'm trying to have a serious conversation here!" I laughed, and Mali laughed even harder now. "Listen Lil, Calum will be okay.. just leave him alone for awhile, and he'll learn his lesson!" Mali said, and i nodded.
I take my phone out of my pocket, and dial my mom's number.
"Hello?" I hear on the other line.
"Hello mom, it's me.. Lily." I say.
"Hello sweetheart.. how are you doing!"
"Very good.. college is going great, and my roommate is the sweetest!" I say. "That's good to hear Lily.. what are you doing in the weekends?" I stare at the wall.. every weekend i've been with Mali and Calum. "Oh, just hanging around.." i lie. "Good.. i got to go know.. your dad and i are going out for dinner.. we love you!"
"Love you too mom and dad." I say, amd i hang up.
"Your mother sounds so sweet!" Mali says, and i chuckle. "She is." I say.
"Maybe we could visit her soon?" She says, and i smile. "Yes, that would be awesome!" I say.
It's getting late, and Mali and i walk to the dining room to have dinner.
"Calum is here.. don't look at him." Mali says, and i nod.
"Sit with us!" Luke shouts, and i look at Mali. "No, we're sitting alone.. girls night." Mali says, and we sit down at a table.
We eat dinner, and i can feel Calum staring at me the whole time. "God, that boy is annoying." Mali sighs, and i chuckle. "Don't talk about your brother like that Mali." I say, and Mali rolls her eyes.

"Morning Mali.." Calum says, as he walks into class. "Morning Cal." Mali smiles, and he sits down behind us.
This hour is going slowly.. and even though Calum tries to get my attention the whole time, i ignore him.
It's now lunchtime, and Mali and i sit down at a bench in the park.
"Hey Lil, an old friend of me is in Syndey this week, and i'm going to visit her after school!" Mali says, and she takes a bite from her sandwich. "That's awesome! Have fun! What time will you be back?" I ask, and Mali shrugs. "I don't know.. if we have fun it'll be late." She says, and i nod.
Here i am.. sitting in my room, alone.. being bored. I have been switching the channels for fifteen minutes now, but nothing interesting is on. I sigh, and get up, ad put my shoes on.
I walk out of the room, and walk around college for a while, when i hear singinf coming from a room.
I look around me, and notice thst i've been here before.
I walk closer to the door, so i can hear everything better.
"I drove by all the places, we used to hang out getting wasted..
I thought about our last kiss, how it felt the way you tasted.
And even tough your friends tell me you're doing fine..
Are you somewhere feeling lonely, even tough he's right beside you.."
I stand there for a while, listening to this person with this beautiful voice, and before i know it, i knock on the door.
The door opens slowly, and i see Calum standing in front of me.
"T-that was beautiful.." i whisper, and i can feel the lump in my troath.
"Lily.. what are you doing here?" Calum asks, and i shrug. "Mali is with a friend.. i walked around for a while, and i heard someone sing.. and now i'm here.." i say.
Calum opens the door further, and i walk in.
"You have a beautiful voice Cal.." i say.
Calum sighs, and he looks down at the floor. "Are you still angry?" He asks, and i give him a weak smile. "Maybe.. but let's talk again.. i hate ignoring you." I say, and Calum smiles. "I hate that too." He says, and opens his arms like he always does before saying "come here."
I wrap my arms around him, and rest my head on his shoulder.
"I'm going to change Lily." He whispers.
