2 months. Two whole months without Mali, without Calum, and without everyone i used to call my friends. I've bee lonely. I'm going to school now, but it's not the same as college.
The first weeks i have been talking to Mali, and Michael sometime, butni didn't hear a word from the other boys.
It's christmas eve, and i remember sitting with Mali in our room, talking abour our plans for christmas.
But now, i'm here with my parents.
"Merry christmas." I say to my parents, and we start eating dinner.
"Merry christmas to my two favorite girls in the world." My dad says, and i smile.
The chicken he made tasted amazing, and the salad was filled with vegetables and fruits.
"I'm glad you're here these days." My mom says, and i nod.
"Me too." I say.
The bond with my mom and dad is stronger than ever.
I can talk about everything with them, and that feels good.
My phone rings, and i get a glare from my mom. I check my phone.
Mali Hood
"Mom, please? It's Mali and i haven't spoken to her in weeks!" I say, and my mom sighs. "Sure.." she says, and i jump up.
"Mali!" I say, and i can hear her laughing.
"Hey Lily! How are you?"
"I'm good, and you?"
"Yeah I'm fine.. merry christmas."
"Merry Christmas Mali.."
"I wish we could spend these days together."
"Yeah.. i'm sorry again Mal.."
"It's okay, i just want you to be happy.. Luke finally told me what he told you."
"He did?"
"Yes, and what a dick.. why would he say that?"
"I don't know."
"I talked about it with him, but he's sorry so.."
"Okay, and how's Calum?" By the mention of his name, i get a lump in my troath.
"He's hurt Lil.. he changed alot since you've been gone.. he started drinking again, but he also stepped out of the band."
"He what?!"
I can't believe she just said that.. why would he quit with the band? The band was his life.
I feel guilty.. this is all my fault. If i didn't break up with him, would he still be in the band?
"Lil, are you alright babe?" Mali asks, and i nod, but realize she can't see me. "I am.. i just.. wow.. i didn't expect that to hear." I say.
"No one was expecting it. We tried everything to get him back there, but he won't."
"It'll be alright Mali.. it needs time." I say, and Mali sighs.
"I miss you Lily."
I smile, and look at the picture of us two on my wall. It was the picture that Joy made, before we went out.
Before everything went wrong.
"I mis you too Mali." I say.
"Do you think we could meet up these weeks? You have holidays right?"
"Yes i have!"
"Good.. i gotta go.. mom needs help."
"Bye Mali, give your mom a hug and chritmas greetings from me!" I say, and Mali laughs.
"Same for your mom.. love you Lil!"
"Love you Mali!' I say, and with that, i hang up.
I walk back to the kitchen where my parents are.
'Christmas hugs and greetings from Mali!" I say, and my mom smiles. "Thanks!" She says.
"How is she?" My dad asks, and i shrug. "Okay.. she misses me, and i miss her.. but it's okay." I say, and my mom walks towards the kithen, and comes back with plates full with ice-cream.
"Oh my i love you!" I say, and my mom laughs.
"How is Calum?" My mom asks, and i sigh. "Not good.. he started drinking and stopped with the band." I say, and my dad shakes his head. "You were special for him Lily." My mom says, and i nod, taking a bite of my ice-cream.
"Mali and i want to meet up these weeks.. we both are free from school so.." i say, and my mom nods.
"That's okay." She says, and i smile bright.
After diner, i go to my room, and text Mali.
"We can meet!! Xx"
i put my pyjama's on, and open Netflix on my laptop.
I watch The Fault In Our Stars, it reminds me of Mali and the times i had with her, and i'm now addicted to that movie.
My phone vibrates, and i open Mali her message.
"Yaaasss, i'll call you tomorrow, and we'll pick a day! Goodnight Lil. xx."
I smile, and put my phone on the charger, and lay down and watch the movie.

Here i am, sitting in the train, on my way to Lily. I missed her so much.. and admit i feel alone in my room now. I got a new roommate.
A quiet girl who doesn't say a word, only reads books and watches movies, and yes, who has a crush on Ashton.
She's nice, but will never be my friend like Lily is.
"Almost there........" i text Lily, and i get up, and take all my bags, and walk to the doors.
"Waiting.. oh wait, i see the train coming.." i smile at her words, and finally after one hour the train comes to a stop.
I have to say, that i am pretty nervous. We haven't seen eachother in months.. i'm scared that the connection we had is gone, but let's hope for the best.
The doors open, and i get out.
"Mali Koa Hood!" I turn around, and see Lily standing there with flowers.
"LILY!" I scream, and let my bags fall on the ground and run towards her.
I jump in her arms, and hug her.
"Oh my god i missed you so much!" She says, and i pull back and see tears in her eyes, and i can feel them burning in my eyes too.
I hug her again, and sigh.
"I missed you too.." i cry, and she gives me the flowers. "Romantic!" I say, and she laughs. "I have another present for you at home.. for christmas!" She says, and i smile.
"Well, let's go then!" I say, and pick up my bags, and Lily takes one to carry too.
"Hello Mali!" Lily her mom says, and i smile. "Hello!" I say, and hug her.
I'm glad that her parents like me, and not think about me the way they used to think about me.
"Let's put your bag upstairs!" She says, and i nod, and put my glass down, and follow Lily upstairs.
i walk into her room, and smile. The posters she had in our room, are now hanging on the walls here, and there i see the picture of us.
I smile at the memory's, and put my bags down.
"Nice room!" I say.
"Here is your present!" Lily says, and gives me a box, and i take it from her.
"Thanks!" I smile, and open the box. I see a necklace, with a small heart on it. I pick it up, and turn it around.
I see a small letter on the back.

I smile, and look at Lily. "I have one too!" She says, and shows me her necklace.

"Oh my this is so cute!" I say, and hug her.
"No matter how far i am away from you, or if we haven't seen eachother in weeks, we'll always be bestfriends Mal.." she says, and i nod.
"Always." I say.
"Okay?" Lily says, and i laugh.
"Did you watch the Fault In Our Stars again?" I ask, and she nods.
I laugh even harder now, and look at her. "Okay." I say.
"I have a present for you too!" I say, and look at Lily. She smiles, and holds up her hands. "I love presents!" She says.
I give her a box, and she opens it. She smiles and looks at me.
It's a photo album, filled with pictures of us, and i wrote down memories of us.
"There's something in it, but you have to open that when i'm gone." I say, and Lily nods.
