"Lily, i want to show you some clubs and stuff here where Mali and i used to go out!" Calum says, and i turn around. "That's fine!" I say, and he wraps his arms around me. "I'm glad you're here!" He says, and i smile, kissing him. "Me too!" I say, and play with his hair. "I'm going to get a shower, and then we'll go!" He says, and i nod, letting go of him. He walks away, and Mali walks in. "Are you coming with us?" She asks, and i nod, and walk to her closet to pick out an outfit. "Can i wear some clothes of you? I don't have anything special.." i say, and Mali nods. I pick out a white T-shirt, black blazer, and a black skinny jeans, and heels. "Can i do your make-up ?" Mali asks, and i laugh. "Fine, but don't over do it." I say, and she nods, and i sit down in front of her on her bed. She starts with BB cream, powder, blush, and then a brown-bronzer eyeshadow, with eyeliner and mascara. "Curl your hair!" She says, and i laugh. "No, i don't want to look like I'm going to an award show or something." I say, and she sighs.
After we finish getting ready, Mali and i go downstairs, and wait for Calum. "Can i take a picture of you two?" Joy asks, and i smile. "Do you realize that this is going to be the first picture of us?" Mali asks, and i laugh. "Oh my god, yes." I say, and i get up.
Joy takes her camera, and Mali wraps her arms around me, and i rest my head on her shoulder. "Smile!" Joy says, and she takes the picture.
"Oh one with Cal!" She says, and i turn around, and Calum walks in. He looks amazing.
Calum is standing between me and Mali, and Joy takes a picture.
"Now, one of Lily and Calum." She says, and Mali walks away.
Calum wraps my arm around him, and i wrap my arm around his waist. He kisses my cheek, and i smile bright, and Joy takes the picture.
"Good! Now go, and have a good night, and please be quiet when you come home!" She says. "Bye mom!" Mali and Calum say, and kiss her cheek. I follow, and give her a kiss on the cheek, before walking out to the taxi we called before.
"Is this it?" I ask, and look around the club. Calum nods, and walks to the bar to order some drinks. People are everywhere, and the music is loud. The place is decorated with pictures on the walls, and flashing lights.
Calum comes back, and gives me a glass of wine, and hands Mali one too, and he holds his glass of beer in the air. "Cheers, to us!" He says, and i smile.
I've been dancing with Mali for god knows how long, and my feet start hurting from the heels. I regret putting them on.
"I'm tired.." Mali slurs, and i laugh. She had a bit too much wine, and i have to hold her, so she won't fall.
"Let's find Cal." I say, and i grab her hand, and push myself through the people.
I see Calum in the corner with some guys, and i make my way over to him.
"Mali and i are tired." I say, and Calum looks up. "I'm not." He says, and i look at him. His eyes are red, and he can barely stand on his feet. "Cal, how much did you drink?" I ask, and he sighs. "Not as much as you think. Stop acting like my mother and enjoy the night!" He says. "But we want to go home!" Mali says, and i look at the floor. "Jesus christ Mal, i haven't been here in weeks just let me enjoy the night with these guys and girls i haven't seen for so long!" He says, and i loom up, to sew him surrounded by girls now.
"Cal.." i say, and he looks at me. "What?" He snaps, and i sigh. "Don't do stuff you regret later." I say. "I regret taking you two here," he almost falls, and i can see that he's clearly drunk.
"You two keep whining, it's annoying." He says.
Ladies and Gentleman.. my boyfriend when he had alcohol.
I shake my head at him. "You are unbelievable." I say, and grab Mali her hand.
I push everyone away, trying to get outside as soon as possible, and when i'm finally there, i call a taxi.
"Your brother should stop drinking." I say, and Mali sighs. "I can't do anything about it Lil." Mali says, and i sigh. "I know Mal.." i say, and we wait for the taxi.
"Be quiet Mali, please." I say, and i help her upstairs, and lay her down in her bed, and undress her.
"Goodnight!" I say, kissing her cheek, and i walk away.
I go downstairs, and walk into the kitchen, and see Joy. "Did we wake you?" I ask, and Joy shakes her head. "No babe." She says, and i take a glass of water and sit down in front of her. Where is Cal?" She asks, and i shrug, tears forming in my eyes. "Lil, love what's wrong?" She asks, and she walks over to me.
"I'm so sorry Joy, Calum is still there but he was so mean to me." I cry, and she hugs me. "Tell me love."
I take a deep breath. "Mali and i wanted to go home, but Calum wanted to stay there.. he was drunk and i asked him how much alcohol he had, and he said that i sounded like 'his mom', and he was surrounded by girls. But this happened before.. when Calum drinks he becomes a different person." I cry, and Joy starts rubbing my back. "Listen Lily.. Calum had a past with alcohol.. he can't control it, but he won't accept the help we give him." Joy says.
"When Calum was sixteen, he had some problems at school and stuff, and his escape was alcohol. (A/N none of this was true, it's made up.) We tried to help him, and he is getting better now, but when he starts drinking, he doesn't know when to stop." Joy says, and i nod. "Yeah.." i say.
"Go to bed love, i'll talk with him." Joy says, and i get up and hug her. "Thank you Joy." I say, and she hugs me. "it'll be okay.." she says, and i nod, and go upstairs. I undress, brush my teeth, and put my pyjama's on. I lay down beside Mali, and close my eyes.
