"I have to go Calum, i'm sorry." I say, and let go of him. "When will you be here again?" Calum asks but i shrug, not knowing what to say so i just walk away.
I have a thing for walking away from people who are special to me.
I bump into my teacher, and fall to the ground.
"Oh i'm so sorry!" He says, and helps me up. "Uh, it's okay." I say, and look at the floor.
"Are you okay Lily? Since you're here you seem off.." He says, and i sigh. "This is the college i used to go to.. but too many bad things happened here, and that's the reason why i came home." I say, and my teacher gives me a weak smile. "I'm sorry Lily, i didn't know that." He says, and i shrug. "It's no problem." I say.
"Do you want to stay here, or go home?" He asks, and i look at him.
"Can i go home, if that's not problem?" I ask and he lays his hands on my shoulder. "Ofcourse not Lily.. go." He says, and i thank him before walking away.
I walk to the familiar room, and open the door without saying anything. "Mali?" I ask, and look around the room. I see a girl sitting on 'my' bed, and she frowns when she sees me. "And who are you?" She asks in a rude tone, and i walk towards her. "Lily. I'm Mali her old roommate." I say, and the girl rolls her eyes. "Oh you're the girl from the stories.." she says, and i frown. "Uh, stories?" I ask, and she nods. "Mali and that brother of her couldn't stop cryinf about you.. babies."
"Hey, don't talk about them like that!" I say, and she gets up. "Or else?" She says, and smirks at me. " Or else i'll make you cry like a baby." I say.
"Ha, you?" She says, and i nod.
"Lauren why- Lily is that you?!" I turn around, and look at Mali. I smile, and nod. "What are you doing here?" She asks, and i look at the girl who's probably called Lauren. "Take me away beforw i explode, and i'll tell you." I say, and Lauren laughs.
"So, you're not coming back, but went here for one day?" Mali asks, and i nod. "To tell the kids about college and stuff." I say, and Mali nods. "Hmm.. okay, and did you see Cal?" She asks, and i nod. "Yes i did.." i sigh, looking at the floor. "What happened Lil?" She asks in a soft tone, and i look at her. "We hugged, and.. kissed. I say, Mali gasps. "Why?" She asks, and i shrug. "It just happened.. i was happy to see him, and yeah.." i say, Mali nods. "Well, okay, but when are you going home?" She asks, and i shrug. "Tonight i think." I say.
"Would you like to go with me to the boys? I had planned to meet up with them.. but only if you want to!" She says, and i smile. "I'd love to." I say, and i follow her to Calum's room.
Mali opens the door, and now, all eyes are on me. "Uh, hi." I say, and smile st them.
"Lily!" Michael shouts, and jumps up and turns towards me. He picks me up, and hugs me tight. "Yes yes, i missed you too Mikey!" I laugh, and he puts me down. "Welcome back!" He says, and i smile.
"Hey Lil, again!" Ashton smiles, and hugs me.
I look at Luke, and he looks at the floor. I walk towards him, and hug him. "I thought you were angry.." he whispers, and i shake my head. "I'm not anymore.. it's okay." I say, and he wraps his arms around me.
I pull back, and walk towards Calum. He kisses my cheek, and hugs me.
"So, how are you guys doing, and how's the band?" I ask, and Ashton shrugs. "It was okay, until Calum stopped." He said, and Calum sighed. "I just don't feel like playing anymore." He says, and Luke rolls his eyes. "Dude, since Lily is gone you don't even feel like living anymore." He says, and Calum laughs. "Really Luke? That's not true." He said, and Michael steps into this worthless conversation. "Actually Calum.. Luke is right, before this all happened you were a happy kid, playing guitar in a band that was your life, and enjoying your time here.. since Lily is gone, you spend your time alone in your room, skip school, and you don't say a word."
I look at Calum, who's already staring at me.
"Is that true?" I ask, and Calum nods. "I'm sorry." He says.
"Listen Cal, you don't have to say sorry, we just want the old you back.. but we don't know how." Ashton says, and Calum sighs.
"If we bring Lily back here, will you be okay then?" Luke asks, and i give him a glare. Calum nods, and i'm not sure if he knows that i'm still here.
"Well, Lil.. you heard it." Michael says, and Mali stops him. "Wait, you don't get to choose if she comes back or not.. that Lily her choice." Mali says.
"Guys, i really want to come back but.. it needs time.. we've been through alot, and i'm scared of getting hurt again."i say, and they all nod. "We understand, but we could give it a try." Luke says, and i nod. "I'll talk about it with my parents." I say.
It's time to go home, and i say goodbye to Mali, and step into the train.
The ride home is long and bored, and i put my headphones in and play music.
I stare out of the window, thinking about everything. Do i want to go back? How will things go between Calum and i?
I realize that the train comes to a stop, and i get out.
I walk back home, and open the front door.
"I'm home!" I say, and i walk into the living room where i see my parents. "Hey darling, how was it?" My mom asks, and i sigh, sitting down beside her. "Okay.. but the college was the college i used to go to." I say. "And, did you see Mali?" My dad asks, and i nod. "And Cal, and the other guys." I say. "How was it?" My mom asks, and i shrug. "It was okay.. i miss them mom.." i say, and she wraps her arm around me.
"If we told you that you can go back, would you go?" My mom asks, and i look up.
"Yes." I say, and my mom smiles. "Why don't you go back then?"
