hey guys! i thought i'd try something different and i might start switching between jj imagines and rudy imagines 💗
"Hello everyone! I'm here with y/n and rudy pankow! today we're going to be answering some of your questions, here we go!" the interviewer says, speaking towards the camera.
This was your first interview to do with outerbanks, your nerves were practically eating at you. Rudy knew about how nervous you were and assured you that he's right next to you if you need him.
"okay, first question, Rudy, what was it like meeting y/n for the first time?"
"it was amazing, she seemed a bit nervous but after 10 minutes of getting to know each other, i could already tell that she's just this ball of sunshine" he responds, smiling at you.
"y/n! what was it like joining the cast in season two?"
"it was very scary for me as i've never really been on any big netflix series. But i was expecting to not really speak that much but they were all so welcoming and kind, it was really easy to become close with them" you say
The interview goes on, asking questions back and forth, your anxiety increasing with every word leaving the interviewer's mouth. Rudy picked up on this.
"okay everyone! we'll be back after a short break!" and the cameras turn off.
"y/n are you all good?" Rudy says, looking deep into your eyes. "me? uh- yeah i'm all good" you respond, smiling weakly.
The cameras begin to roll again, questions being asked again. "y/n, which cast member knows you the best?"
"i'd say Rudy. He can tell instantly if something's wrong, he matches my vibe so well, he's just great." you reply, making intense eye contact with Rudy.
"Rudy, what is it like having to play a romantic relationship with y/n?"
"it's- it's great, she's so easy to work with. Her personality really matches the character she plays and her acting is just amazing, i feel honoured to work with such an amazing person"
Without realising, you had began to bounce your leg. A warm hand landed on your knee, causing it to relax. Rudy continues answering the question, your face trying to hide all of the emotions you were feeling.
His thumb gently rubs against your skin, sending a weird sensation throughout your body. You couldn't help but smile.
Eventually, the interview ended. "see, yoj had nothing to be nervous about" Rudy says as you're walking to his car.
You shoot him a glare, a slight smirk on your face. "what? i'm just telling the truth!" he says, laughing. "that was the most nerve racking thing i think i've ever done" you say, covering your face with your hands in embarrassment.
"oh come on, y/n, you were fine" he says, looking at you with a soft look in his eyes. "besides, tomorrow's interview will be less scary because you'll be on your own and i'll be in the audience" he says, plugging his seatbelt in.
"what?! that's like ten times worse! you're going first" you say, laughing a little.
"okay, i'll go first" he says, smiling as he looks into the road in front of him.
The next day, Rudy is now sitting in the chair, a different interviewer beside him. They do an introduction and get right to the questions.
"so, Rudy, we all know that you and y/n have a quite close relationship. What's one thing you've noticed about her?"
"well, you wouldn't be able to tell, but she gets very anxious and um," he laughs a little "god she's going to kill me for saying this, anyways, she tends to bounce her leg, bite her lip or her cheek, or just fidget in general when she's nervous. but she's so sweet" he says, looking at you in the audience
His interview finishes and then you're up, it all goes smoothly and as you're leaving with Rudy, he grabs your hand.
Your face instantly turns red, "you still up for the cast dinner tomorrow?" he asks you.
"yeah, sure" you respond as you lean your head against his shoulder.
People usually thought that you and Rudy were dating. You weren't, but you both knew that there were feeling there for each other.
It came to the dinner the next day, you were wearing a nice, red dress that looked gorgeous on you. Rudy sat down next to you.
As everyone began arriving, your nerves grew. Rudy picked up on this. Once again, your leg began to bounce and he put his hand on your thigh, hoping to ease you a little bit.
Only this time your leg continued bouncing and you began to bite your lip. "come on, let's go" he whispered in your ear before making an excuse to leave, everyone said bye and you and Rudy left.
"you didn't have to leave, Rudy" you say, feeling guilty that he left because of you.
"y/n it's fine, don't worry about it. You were clearly uncomfortable in there." he says, placing his hand on your thigh as he began to drive.
You get to your apartment and ask him to stay the night. You get in bed, Rudy beside you and before you know it, his arms are wrapped around you, keeping you warm.
