You were sitting on your phone on the hammock, waiting for someone to come back. Surprisingly, jj arrived.
"hey baby, how come your shift ended early?" you say, walking towards him. "i'm not sure, love" he responds with a weak smile.
Now that you're taking a good look at him, his skin is more pale than usual. Gently, you touch his forehead. He was burning up.
"babe, are you feeling okay?" you question as he closes his eyes and hums in response. You knew he hated to admit that he was ill because he thought you'd find it gross.
"come on, let's get you inside" you say, leading him into his bedroom. You go and grab some medicine and a drink for him to have.
"please don't leave" jj whines, slightly frowning.
"jj i'm just grabbing a fan from the living room to help cool you down, don't worry" you respond as you kiss his forehead.
You place the fan down and switch it on before climbing into bed as jj lays on your stomach.
"please kiss me" he says, looking up at you. You laugh slightly as you press your lips against his, earning a warm smile from him.
"come on, love, you need to sleep" you say as he rests his head back down. He slowly dozed off into a deep sleep.
A few minutes later, John b walks into the room. "do you guys wanna come on the boat for a bit?" he asks.
"probably not today, jj's not feeling too great" you whisper, as jj is still asleep. Even when he was asleep, he still looked so beautiful.
