Jisoo sat in the opulent office, its dark wood paneling and imposing shelves lined with law books exuding an aura of solemn authority. The attorney, Mr. Lee Seokmin, was seated across from him, his eyes betraying a mix of curiosity and wariness. Without preamble, Jisoo leaned forward, his demeanor a blend of arrogance and urgency.

"So, Mr. Lee, I need your help," Jisoo declared, crossing his legs casually. He noticed Seokmin's gaze drift momentarily to his legs and smirked before clearing his throat to reclaim the lawyer's attention.

Seokmin looked up, his professional mask slipping slightly. "Yes, Mr. Hong. It's my pleasure to help you," he responded, though his voice carried an undertone of uncertainty.

Jisoo's expression turned serious as he stood up. "Let's say you'll defend me from accusations of being involved in a human trafficking ring. I know I am, but it will affect my company. So, yeah, take up my case. My men will provide you with the evidence." His words were delivered with the cold detachment of someone used to getting what he wanted.

The lawyer's face turned pale, his eyes widening in disbelief. "What did you just say? I—" Seokmin began, but his words were cut off as Jisoo pushed him back into his seat.

"Shhh!" Jisoo hushed him, placing a finger on Seokmin's lips. He felt the soft texture under his fingertips and whispered seductively, "Your lips are soft." He licked his own lips as he traced his finger down the lawyer's neck and chest, his touch sending an involuntary shiver through Seokmin.

Seokmin was paralyzed, his body unable to move as he found himself trapped in Jisoo's gaze. Anger and helplessness warred within him, but he couldn't tear his eyes away from the man before him.

Leaning closer, Jisoo whispered in his ear, "Ever heard of the Crimson Knives' organization?"

Seokmin's eyes widened further. He knew of the Crimson Knives—a notorious mafia conglomerate. The organization was a shadowy empire, a consortium of different gangs united under a single, ruthless leadership. And there was only one team that ruled the Crimson Knives.

"Yes, baby, that one," Jisoo exclaimed with a chilling cheerfulness.

Seokmin stuttered, "Y-you a-are—"

"Yeah, name's Joshua. You heard it right?" Jisoo said, inhaling Seokmin's scent deeply. "You smell so good."

Recognition dawned in Seokmin's mind. He recalled the name-Joshua Hong-mentioned by a past client who had hinted at his involvement in the mafia. Joshua's name had also appeared in the news, associated with the ruling faction of the Crimson Knives. He was one of the principal figures of the empire.

Summoning a surge of courage, Seokmin pushed Joshua away and shouted, "Are you crazy? You have a freaking human trafficking system and you want me to defend you?!!  Thinking that I'll help you !! Im reporting you to the police!!"

Joshua stepped back, but his hands still traced a mocking caress along Seokmin's neck. "Yeah, right. What was his name? Lee Jang-no Lee Seungmin, right?'  He said with a cheerful nonchalance.

Seokmin's anger flared into a burning rage. "How did you-"

"A little birdy told me," Joshua interrupted. "So, imagine if you don't agree. I'll shoot your little son, and his cries will be so soothing while his father is helplessly-"

"STOP!" Seokmin roared, his fury exploding as Joshua mentioned his son. He stood and shoved Joshua so hard that he stumbled and fell.

Joshua rose to his feet, a smirk playing on his lips. "Listen, you! Never come near us again!"

Joshua's expression darkened. "So, just defend me for this one case. I'll leave you and your son alone. Choose- your son or justice."

Seokmin was torn, his mind a whirlwind of anguish and love for his son. Finally, he whispered, "F-fine, I'll do it." The words tasted like ash in his mouth.

Joshua's smile returned as he approached Seokmin, throwing an arm around the lawyer's neck in a mockingly affectionate gesture. "All the best, darling. You lose, your son's life is lost." He planted a kiss on Seokmin's cheek.

Seokmin closed his eyes, overwhelmed by disgust, pain, and betrayal. Tears filled his eyes as Joshua wiped them away. "I'm sorry, but it had to be done," Joshua murmured before leaving.
