Seokmin sat at his desk, the soft glow of his desk lamp casting long shadows across the room. He rubbed his tired eyes, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle in his bones. The long hours of work had taken their toll, but even more unsettling was the feeling of being watched. He glanced at the window, half-expecting to see a figure lurking in the darkness outside. But there was nothing, just the quiet of the night.
With a sigh, Seokmin pushed himself away from his desk and stood up. He needed to get some rest, but the thought of closing his eyes filled him with dread.
As he made his way to his bedroom, he couldn't shake the feeling of unease. Every creak of the floorboards seemed to echo in the silence, every shadow a potential threat.
When he finally reached his room, he hesitated before stepping inside. He scanned the room, searching for any sign of intrusion, but everything appeared to be in order.
Seokmin clenched his fists as he stared out the window of his luxurious penthouse apartment, his heart pounding with a mixture of fear and anger. The dimly lit streets below seemed to hold shadows that whispered of danger, and he couldn't shake the feeling of being watched.
His son, Seungmin, was fast asleep in his room, unaware of the turmoil gripping his father's mind. Seokmin had always prided himself on being a strong and capable protector for his son, but tonight, he felt utterly vulnerable.
As the minutes ticked by, Seokmin debated whether to call the police or confront the intruder himself. His instincts told him that this was no ordinary threat, that it was somehow connected to his work as a high-profile lawyer.
Finally, unable to bear the tension any longer, Seokmin made his decision. He would track down whoever was stalking him and put an end to it once and for all. With a determined stride, he left his apartment and headed for the headquarters of the Crimson Knives.
The journey to the Crimson Knives' headquarters was fraught with tension. Every shadow seemed to hold a potential threat, and Seokmin's senses were on high alert. When he finally reached the imposing building that housed the secretive organization, he squared his shoulders and marched inside.
The receptionist, a coolly efficient woman with sharp eyes, looked up as Seokmin entered. Without a word, he approached her and demanded to know the whereabouts of Joshua, the member of the Crimson Knives who had been harassing him.
The receptionist's gaze never wavered as she informed Seokmin that Joshua had just left the building moments ago. She handed him a card, her lips quirking in a faint smile, and said-
"This is for you, Mr.Lee"Seokmin's anger flared at the thought of Joshua slipping through his fingers once again. Without another word, he stormed out of the headquarters and into the night, clutching the card in his trembling hand.
The address on the card led Seokmin to a sprawling mansion on the outskirts of the city. Its grandeur only served to fuel his rage as he realized that Joshua was living a life of luxury while tormenting him.
With a determined glint in his eyes, Seokmin marched up to the front door of the mansion and pounded on it with his fist. He would confront Joshua and demand answers, no matter what it took.
As Seokmin stood on the threshold of Joshua's mansion, his heart racing with a mix of anticipation and anger, the door swung open to reveal the man himself. Joshua stood before him, a vision of seductive allure and bold femininity.
His eyes were rimmed with kohl, adding a smoldering intensity to their depths, while his lips were tinted a soft, inviting pink. The oversized shirt he wore clung to his slender frame, hinting at the curves beneath, and his legs were showcased in a pair of snug shorts that left little to the imagination.
Despite the anger simmering within him, Seokmin couldn't help but be captivated by Joshua's presence. There was a magnetic quality to him, an aura of confidence and allure that drew the eye and stirred the senses.
"Seokmin," Joshua purred, his voice a low, husky rasp that sent shivers down Seokmin's spine. "What a pleasant surprise. To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?"
Seokmin gritted his teeth, fighting to maintain his composure in the face of Joshua's blatant provocation. "Cut the act, Joshua," he snapped, his voice tinged with frustration. "You know why I'm here."
Joshua's lips curled into a smirk, a playful glint dancing in his eyes. "Do I now? Enlighten me, darling."
Seokmin's fists clenched at his sides, his patience wearing thin. "You've been stalking me," he accused, his voice harsh with anger. "Watching me from the shadows, invading my privacy. I want to know why."
Instead of showing any sign of remorse or guilt, Joshua simply laughed, a throaty sound that sent a chill down Seokmin's spine. "Oh, Seokmin," he murmured, stepping closer until there was barely an inch of space between them. "You have no idea what you've stumbled into, do you?"
Before Seokmin could respond, Joshua leaned in closer, his breath warm against Seokmin's ear. "But don't worry, darling," he whispered, his voice a tantalizing promise. "All will be revealed in time. Until then, why don't you come inside? We have so much to discuss."
