part 62 CONFIRMATION

Cherry's pov;

I bit my lip and cut a piece of the carrot cake. I licked the icing off my finger. I put back the cake inside the fridge and walked towards the couch.

I sat down there and put on my favourite tv show vampire diaries. I was still looking out for harry to come home, because i came home from college all by myself and i felt sad because my husband was not there to pick me up.

Sighing i watched the television and ate the cake. I was enjoying the show in pure bliss and my attention was stuck on it.

I placed the plate down and got more comfy on the couch. I covered with a blanket and rested my head on the pillow while i watched the show.

It felt nice and peaceful. I yawned. From one yawn it became two, from two to three and that was a signal that I'm sleepy.

I closed my eyes snuggling deeper into the pillow as sleep over took me.

Third person's pov;

The sound of the tv didn't wake up cherry and she slept peacefully on the couch.

Her husband harry has finished his work in his office and came home from a tiring day.

He spotted his wife sleeping on the couch looking so vulnerable yet cute. He sighed and the feeling of extreme tiredness was taken off his shoulders as he watched his wife sleep peacefully.

He set his bag down on the chair and ventured towards her, he stopped in front of her sight and smiled down crouching on his knees.

He kissed her head softly and admired her. He was a little upset on himself as he didn't pick her up from college today.

He once again kissed her head again, his soft lips lingering on his soft forehead. Just then cherry felt something on her head which made her open her eyes.

She squinted her eyes and saw her husband staring down at her with a soft smile plastered on his face.

She smiled at him "haz" she whispered softly and wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down to her. She smiled feeling him kiss her neck.

"When did you come haz?" She asked "few minutes ago" he said to her in his brittish voice which was soft for her.

"How was work?" She asked and stared at him. "Tiring" he sighed. She pouted and kissed his head. He smiled at her and kissed her lips passionately.

"I missed you today" she said "i know babylove. I missed you too, sorry i couldn't pick you up I had three meetings today" he told her. She nodded and kissed his cheek.

"What time is it?" She asked him. He glanced down at his watch "it's 6:01 baby" he told her. "Oh ok, do you want me to make you some tea?" She asked him "thank you baby, I'd love to" he replied.

She got up from the couch, kissing his cheek and walking away to the kitchen to make him some tea.

Harry walked towards their bedroom and undressed walking inside the bathroom. He stepped inside the shower and warm water relaxed his body and muscles.

By the time harry was taking a shower, cherry made the tea and made a cup of coffee for herself.

She took her plate, which she has ate carrot cake in and washed it out.

She took the two cups and placed it on the centre table and waited for harry to come. She crossed her legs and sipped on her coffee and scrolled through Instagram.

Harry came out from the shower and changed into his cozy pyjamas. He walked out of the bedroom.

The fresh smell of aftershave and vanilla engrossed the living as harry stepped in. Cherry smiled at him as he sat down beside her, pressing a quick kiss at the side of her head and taking the cup of tea.

He sipped on it and felt the headache which he never knew he had fade away. He smiled at his wife and watched as she was busy scrolling through the reels ok his phone.

Cherry lifted her head and saw harry looking at what she was doing, she blushed. "Oh you took a shower!" She said "yeah" he answered.

She drank up her coffee and placed it down on the centre table. "I'll also go take a shower then" she told harry. He nodded and got up placing his tea cup on the centre table and walking along with her to their bedroom.

She undressed from her panty and shirt. Harry sat down on the bed and watched her. She blushed and took the towel wrapped it around herself she walked inside the shower.

She decided to shave today, as there was a slight stuble. After she done her thing she showered.

She came out only to find her husband sleeping. He must have had a long day at work, she thought to herself.

She walked inside the closet and dried herself and wore on pyjamas too. She came out and did a skincare and combed her hair braiding it.

She kissed Harry's head and switched off the light and walked to the kitchen. She decided to make dinner.

She took out the chicken wings from the fridge and started to wash them in the sink. Once it was washed thoroughly she placed them in a clean dry bowl. She began to take out all the ingredients for it and the spices.

She was done adding all the ingredients in the wings and began to mix them, her phone began to ring. She sighed and went and picked it up. It was her mother.

"Hello.....""cherry, what are you doing?"
"Making dinner, why?""do you know what day tomorrow is?""yes i remember there is no need of reminding me!""it's nice that you remember, i wanted to let you know that, you father and I will be coming to pick you up be ready tomorrow at 4 a clock in the evening. You will be starting your tutoring classes tomorrow and don't make any scrupils, you get that. Your father won't be happy he was not happy the other day too, he kept quiet because your husband was there or else you know right now your dad is?""bye..." and cherry hung up.

Cherry kept a long face and began to prepare dinner for herself and her husband. She was angry, yet sad. It was unable for her to handle both, being a housewife and a student at the same time. It was exhausting her and stressing her a lot to which her anxiety levels would always raise.

Harry on the other hand woke up from his nap and walked out of the bedroom. He spotted his wife cooking in the kitchen silently.

He walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her snuggling into her neck. She was silent not saying anything.
Harry noticed her mood swing and frowned "what's up babylove?" He asked "nothing" she mumbled lowly.

"No something is wrong, tell me what is it?" He asked her, but she kept dening it. Harry sighed and asked if he did something to do to which her mood fell. "no you didn't do anything haz?" She whispered turning to face him "then what is it?" He asked her. She sighed and told him, what had happened and what was the reason of her mood being low.

Harry understood that and embraced her bringing her to his chest. A few tears escaped her eyes due to her anxiety. Harry wiped away those tears and kissed her cheek "I'm coming with you tomorrow whether your parents like it or not and I'll speak on your behalf. Don't worry lovie, I won't do anything that will make you feel uncomfortable. Okay?" He said, asked.

Cherry nodded at her husband's words which assured her. "Good baby, now stop crying" he told her. She smiled and wiped away her tears. He smiled down at his wife and kissed her lips softly. They pulled away and smiled. "I love you haz" said cherry admiring her husband "i love you too my cherry" replied harry.

"Anyways what are you making for dinner?" Harry asked "I'm making chicken wings and rice" said cherry with a cute smile. Harry's grin widened and he kissed his wife's exposed neck and decided to help her in cooking.
