For the next couple of weeks Elena was busy between the clothing line and trying to find Nicole. During the day she spent most of her time with Micah in her new apartment and then at night with Brad.
They had kept their private life a secret. No one knew they were a thing. Everyone thought they were just friends who sometimes had lunch or dinner together. Elena had also kept her new fashion under wraps. Both she and Micah agreed that they should wait to make the big reveal.
“You know my mother asked about us,” Brad said one night they were curled up on the couch. "She thinks I might actually have feelings for you."
Elena laughed. “Only if they knew.” She smiled up at him. “So when do you want to tell them we’re a thing?”
He sighed. “Not yet. They’re still talking about the engagement and I want that to be a thing of the past till I show you off as mine.” He ran his fingers through her hair. “You know you’re even bigger on the news now. You can’t go to a channel where you aren’t being talked about.”
“That would be both of us. You’re talked about too. With you getting your Noble Prize tomorrow you’re a big hot shot.”
“Hmm that’s right, I’m getting that. Any idea where I could find a date at the last minute?”
Elena rolled her eyes. “You’re so lazy.”
“And yet you still love me.” He smirked and kissed her.
“Why do you have to be so good?” She moaned.
Brad pulled her up onto to his lap. “Because you like it.” He pulled her hair back and started to trail kisses across her chin and down her neck. She moaned and closed her eyes. Even though she was used to Brad kissing her she could never get used to the feeling. Fire burned through her veins.
“Brad,” she whimpered.
“God I love it when you say my name like that.” He kissed her throat.
“No if you don’t stop I don’t know how much self-control I’ll have.”
He sighed. “Baby just trust me will you? I know you want to wait but I can hold myself back.”
She grinned down at him. “So if I took off all my clothes and begged for you to make love to me you wouldn’t?” She cocked her eyebrow.
“No, I would fuck you.” He moved and pinned her under him. “You know most of the time I think you’re just testing me.”
“And if I was?”
Brad smirked and slid her dress up. “That wouldn’t be a smart thing to do because then I would have to make up for all the lost time.” His fingers slid over her thigh. “And we would have months to make up.”
“Then we better start.”
He grinned at her wickedly. “I knew it was a test.” Then he kissed her. His lips forced hers to open. Pulling the dress up and slid his hand over her barely stomach up to her bra. “You know how sexy your new outfits are. Those old things were terrible but trust me baby all you scream in sex appeal.”
Giggling Elena forced Brad’s head up and kissed him. “What happened to me being innocent?”
“I hate to break it love but I took and am taking that from you.” He smirked. “I’m taking it all away.”
Elena woke to a cold bed. She sat up and looked around for Brent but he wasn’t there. She wrapped the sheets around her body and slid out of bed. “Brad what are you doing up?” she asked when she found him in the study.
