Lloyd couldn't believe he just did that.

The blonde trudged through the woods, thinking about the way he exited the monastery earlier.

"Where ya headed?"

"My boyfriend's house."

Lloyd giggled to himself quietly. He sounded so cool! He knew Jay didn't deserve such icy treatment, but maybe, if he gave the others such a cold shoulder, they would take him seriously when it came to Morro.

Lloyd loved him. And no matter what, the others were just going to have to get behind that.

Lloyd continued to trudge through the tangled woods on his own, humming a sweet tune to himself as he'd soon be at his and Morro's new spot.

It had been about a week since Jay had that talk with Kai on the couch. Random bits and pieces still echoed through his head as he went about his day to day life.

We had sex that night.

The name for this love isn't friendship.

Jay liked Cole. No, I mean, he really liked Cole. And he felt like such an ass for taking so long to come to that realization. Things had been so awkward between them this whole week, and now, Jay has a different problem.

How can he win Cole back?

Jay had gone through many ideas: flowers, plushies, grand gestures. None of them felt right. He wished he could just ask Cole what he wanted, but this apology was something he had to do on his own. And he was determined to do it right.

It was the start of a new week, and Jay decided to drop Lloyd off at school, regardless of if he wanted to go or not.

"Please, Lloyd...PLEASE!" Jay whined

"I- Why are you begging me to go to school right now?" Lloyd asked as he grabbed a box of Fruit Loops from the top cabinet in the kitchen

"I...You'll understand later. Let me and Cole take you to school today. I'll owe ya! Promise! Whatever you want!"

Lloyd put his finger to his chin and pretended to think before speaking up.

"Okay. Can I have 50 bucks?" The blonde grinned

"Of course, I-...Why am I paying you to go to school? Get in the car!" Jay exclaimed

"Ah, worth a shot. Let me eat my cereal, I'll be out in a minute." Lloyd shrugged

Jay struggled to contain his grin before before hurriedly walking over to the bathroom door. Upon hearing his knock at the door, Cole opened the door to answer him.

"Hey." The taller man spoke. Jay hated how hollow his voice sounded, and struggled to ignore how much he liked hearing it anyway.

"Hey. Do you wanna...come with me to drop Lloyd off at school today...?" The ginger asked softly

"Um...sure, yeah. Lemme get dressed,  yeah?" Cole sighed as he scratched his chin awkwardly

"Okay..." Jay smiled. Cole tried not to notice the twinkle in his eyes before giving up and closing the door again

When they were all ready, Jay sat in the front seat of his car with Lloyd in the passenger seat. The ginger's gaze landed on Cole as he exited the monastery elevator wearing baggy blue jeans and a slightly cropped, dark brown hoodie. Jay smiled at the thought of how cute the outfit looked on him before pulling down his visor and fixing his hair in the mirror.
