Another week or two had passed. Everyone in the house was still too busy congratulating and teasing Cole and Jay about their becoming a couple to pay much attention to Lloyd's own relationship.
Honestly, as happy as he was for them, he was also wildly jealous. Everybody got to show off their partners without shame or worry, but he's been in hiding for months. Even now that everyone knows about Morro, he's still in hiding. It's not fair. The only one who has cut him even a little bit of slack was Cole that day at the dojo. But the other ninja don't even want to talk about Morro. And it hurts.
Lloyd laid sprawled out on his bed, alone in the boy's room, texting on his phone while the other ninja were together in the living room, and Wu had decided to get some fresh air out in Ninjago City.
Sir Bradley: yo

LuhLoyd: Felt sick

Lloyd watched the phone screen with a wide grin before jumping up at the sound of a voice right in his ear and freezing still as he realized whose voice it was
"What's so funny?" Morro quizzed, glancing over the text messages as he positioned himself on top of the blonde
"Hey! What are you doing here?" Lloyd smiled, faltering a bit as he immediately remembered what happened the last time his lover was inside the monastery
"I just wanted to see you. I feel like I miss you so much these days, Cindy Lou..." The ghost mumbled into his boyfriend's shoulder
"Good. That means I'm doing something right." The blonde replied with a grin. The two boys laughed to themselves for a minute before Lloyd became serious again
"But seriously," They both reposition themselves so that they're lying down facing each other, and Lloyd takes the take to brush a strand of pitch black hair out of Morro's face. "What are you doing here? You know...what they did last time."
Lloyd's heart tore as he once again remembered the events that took place that day. He just didn't get it. Why? Why did his own family try so hard to push out somebody they knew he cared about in such a deep way?
"I told you," The ghost grinned, "I missed you."
Lloyd smiled at his boyfriend lovingly before finally speaking up. "Okay. What do you wanna do today?"
