      Rebekah had gone out to get everything Sophie needed leaving Layla, Hayley, Elijah and Sophie alone. Which wasn't a good idea at all seeing as Hayley was pushing Sophie to work faster and Elijah was dabbing a wet towel on Layla's head.

"Stop rushing me! I dont have anything i need yet." Sophie says to Hayley for the 10th time.

"Well work faster, my best friends baby is dying!" Hayley yells.

Elijah shakes his head. "If you are going to argue, do it somewhere else please."

As Hayley and Sophie left the room Elijah looked at the girl. "Rebekah will be back soon i promise."

Layla lets out a shaky breath "i sure hope so." Layla reaches for Elijahs hand. "I'm scared."

Elijah squeezes the girls right hand. "It's going to be okay. I promise i wont let anything happen to you or your baby."

Layla can only muster a smile towards him.

Once Rebekah got back they moved outside to where the pool was. Layla sitting on the edge a blanket wrapped around her. "She's burning up. We need to do this now." Hayley says to everyone as Rebekah feels the girls head.

Sophie looks up as Elijah runs over to Layla. "Get her in the water." The witch commands.

With that Elijah jumps in the water and Layla pushes the blanked off of her shoulders. Elijah grabs the girls waist and holds her as she lowers into the water. "I dont see how a midnight swim is supposed to help." Rebekah says to the witch.

Sophie pours something together. "Her temperature is sky high and the water, with the help of herbs should cool is down." Sophie walks over and gets into the pool. "Drink this." She hands the cup to Layla and the blonde drinks it. "Your gonna have to get her heart rate down"

"How do you suggest i do that?" Elijah says as he keeps a hold on Layla. Rebekah and Hayley standing off to the side worried about the girl.

"Hold her, its a natural human remedy to slow the heart rate and reduce blood pressure." Sophie tells the vampire.

Layla keeps her arm around Elijah. "This is never gonna work." Hayley and Rebekah say at the same time.

"Davina will break that link." Elijah insists as he moves to hold Layla in a bridal position. "We just need time."

Layla breathes heavy and lays her head on the mans shoulder. "It hurts."

"I know angel just hang on a little longer." Elijah strokes a hand on the girls head and kisses her forehead. When he feels Layla nod slightly he lets out a breath.

Just then her head shoots up. "Lijah I cant breathe."

"Ok, take a deep breath. Layla look at me, long deep breaths, just focus on the sound of my voice." Layla and Elijah look at each other in the eyes. "You'll be ok, you'll be ok." Layla leans her head back onto his shoulder and Elijah lowers her body so she's more in the water.

But just as everyone thinks it's calming, the clock strikes and Layla shoots up in Elijah's arms in pain. "Ahhhh! Ah! Ah!"

Layla grabs her stomach as it hurts. "Agh!" And then all the pain stops.

"I just felt it lift." Sophie says as she looks up at the sky.

Elijah still holds her close as Sophie pricks her palm. Elijah grabs Layla's hand and looks at it only to see no blood. He looks at her for a moment and she smiles at him. "Come on." He guided the girl out of the pool "lets go." into Rebekah and Hayley's arms.

As the girls hug Elijah calls his brother. "Its me, where are you? Don't hurt her, ill be there shortly." And then he hangs up. "Ill make you one last promise. I won't let my brother kill Agnes." Elijah grabs his coat and shoes and walks into the house.

"Oh! Elijah?" Layla calls out for the man.

He stops and turns to look at her, tilts his head as if saying. "Yes?"

"Can you ask Klaus to pick up some fries, i could really use some food right now."

Elijah laughs an shakes his head. "Of course." And with that the man walks into the house leaving a laughing Rebekah.

After Elijah and Rebekah had left the house. Sophie right after and Hayley to go out and get some ice cream for a sundae. Layla was left alone, really wanting some fries. But there was a knock at the door, Layla opened it to see Josh. Klaus's undercover vampire.

She smiles at him. "Where is he? I've been trying to find him all day." Josh asks the girl carrying Klaus's child. "Marcel knows that Niklaus lied about where he lives."

"I dont know Josh, i have been having a pretty rough day i can't keep track of the original hybrid all the time." Layla throws her hands in the air tired of people asking things of her.

"Ok, just tell him to call me please?" Josh insist.

"Ok." And with that Josh walks away and Layla closes the door. Only for there to be a knock on it just a moment later. "Ugh! What the hell josh!" Layla opens the door only to see a dark skinned man she has never met before.

"Hi there." He smiles at her. "Im Marcel. I don't think we've met."

Layla only smiles back, knowing Marcel will be in huge trouble when she tells Klaus he showed up at their front door.

Hey guys!!! I know it took me forever to write a new chapter, i just haven't had any motivation to write one but I figured why not? Anyway's this one is kinda short because this is where the episode ends for Layla. I hope you guys enjoy. I have no idea when the next update will be so yeah! Also I didn't read this over so if there is any mistakes please let me know.
