It wasnt too long before Dwayne woke up again. To say Layla was scared was un understatement. She knew Klaus had no idea about this. While he had been protective since she was brought to his home. She knew he didnt plan on hurting the baby.

"Tyler please you dont have to do this." Tyler smirked at her.

"Yes i do." Tyler looked at Dwayne. He walked over to Layla and went to use a knife on her. Trying to get blood for Dwayne

Dwayne raced up and grabbed his arm before Tyler could touch her. "Dont touch her." The knife in Tylers hand dropped to the ground as Dwayne started attacking him.

"Dwayne stop!" Tyler grunted.

"Yeah dont like it when its done to you." Layla spoke under her breath as she reached for the knife. Once she got it she freed herself and ran.

Layla ran as far as she could before bumping into someone. "Layla." Elijah breathed out in relief. "We've been looking for you."

"Yeah well Tyler lockwood just kidnapped me." Layla huffed. She looked between Hayley and Elijah wondering where Klaus was.

"What?" Hayley arched a brow. "That assshole."

Elijah watched Layla closely. "What did he want?"

Layla hesitated. "There's something you guys should know. The babies blood, it can make hybrids."

Elijah's face dropped immediately. He had been trying to figure out why his brother was so protective of the blond. At first he thought it was love, but now. Now he knew it was because the baby could bring him hybrids.

Hayley immediately reacted. "Hes gonna use the baby to make more Hybrids. Elijah we cant let that happen."

"We must find Niklaus." Elijah began in the direction Layla had come running from.

As Layla, Elijah, and Hayley approached Klaus perked up. He had killed Dwayne and let Tyler go. "Ah great, your all here. Would someone like to share why theres a hybrid here that i did not sire?"

Hayley looked at him. "Dont act like you dont know. You've been planning to use the baby this entire time. You knew what its blood could do."

Klaus rose a brow looking at Layla. "Tyler used my blood to make Dwayne a hybrid." The blond filled him in.

"Niklaus is thought you were finally starting to realise hybrids where not everything. I guess i was wrong." Elijah hummed.

Klaus frowned. "So this is what this is about? My own brother not believing my intentions."

"Why else would you suddenly be so inclined to protect Layla? You dont love anyone but yourself!" Hayley yelled.

"Stop!" Layla intervened. "You guys are attacking him without even asking if he knew. Its ridiculous!"

Klaus suddenly sped to Elijah and bit him. Giving the vanpire a werewolf bite. "Is this what you want? Proof im evil. Well here you go." The hybrid began walking away. Suddenly stopping and turning. "Layla my love." He held out his hand for her to take.

"Layla if you go with him i will never trust you." Hayley told her best friend.

Layla shook her head. "I will always go with him." She walked to Klaus and took his hand. Speeding the pair to the car.

"Is it true? The babies blood makes hybrids?" Klaus asked quietly. Layla nodded. "I had no idea Layla. And even now i still will not use our child for my own gain."

"I know. I trust you." Klaus smiles at her and she returns the smile. "Can we go home? I wanna lay down."

"Of course my love."

Okay guys ik this isnt like the show scene at all but when i was transferring this book over I accidentally deleted this chapter and i dont have the energy to find this scene so pretend its like 10x better then what it actually is. Love ya!
